"If You Didn't Know Me Before, You Do Know!!!"

Shindo awoke in a white room that seemed to go on forever. He got up and wandered around looking for an exit. After some time, he saw an object that appeared to resemble a throne. As he got closer, he saw it more clearly: a black obsidian throne with green streaks running along the armrests and the back. When he got even closer, he saw a bearded man in a three piece black suit seated on the throne who appeared to be sleeping. The man woke up abruptly as if sensing Shindo's presence. "Ah yes, Shindo. You finally made it," the man said joyfully as if he had been waiting for a long time for this moment. "I'm sorry, I don't think I know who you are," Shindo replied. The man stood up and put his hand forward. "If you didn't know me before, you do now! The names Kami-gatta, pleased to meet you," he said sounding excited like a fanboy meeting a celebrity.

"Kami-gatta? Interesting," Shindo said shaking Kami-gatta's hand, "Well my name's Shindo. Shindo Nakajima. I hope you dont mind me asking but where are we?" Kami-gatta stepped back and looked around. "I believe this is the place in your mind that you refer to as 'Point Blank' and I admit, it sure does live up to it's name. It's a quiet place really," he said with his arms stretched out as if presenting a grand creation. "You're joking right?" Shindo replied. "I wish I was. Here, take a seat and I'll explain everything," Kami-gatta said while nudging Shindo towards his throne.

"Now, what do you want to know first?" Kami-gatta asked, now sitting on the floor with his legs crossed. "Let's start with how I got here," Shindo responded. "Alright. So basically, I was the cause of the whole thing with your skin. I used your body to send a shockwave that sent everything around you flying away before transferring your consciousness to Point Blank. Any questions?" Kami-gatta said as if it was all something natural. Shindo looked at him blankly. "Wait a minute, what the heck are you?" he said sounding confused. "That's an easy one. I'm Kami-gatta, your guardian from now on until the day you eventually die. I just have to make sure that doesn't happen because if you die, I die. And I do not, I repeat, do not want to die! But if we do die, atleast let it be honourably. I dont want to be remembered as 'Kami-gatta, the guy who died while climbing a tree', you got it?" Kami-gatta responded.

Shindo was speechless. Then out of nowhere, he slapped himself across the face. "Hey! No self-inflicted injuries!" Kami-gatta yelled before punching Shindo in the gut. "And I thought you were supposed to be protecting me!" Shindo yelled back. Kami-gatta took a step back to regain his composure. "Sorry about that...its a force of habit. Anyway, from now on, you and I are one of the same," he said. Shindo tried standing up and as soon as he did, he heard the movement of chains behind him. When he turned, he came face to face with a giant black chain that seemed to be stemming from his back. "What!? Kami-gatta, what's the heck is that?" He said, pointing at the chain. "It's a power link. I can give you power through it. And relax, it's harmless," Kami-gatta said calmly. Shindo eased up a little after hearing that.

"Wait, so you're a human manifestation of my arashi I'm guessing?" Shindo inquired. "You know kid, for a smart guy you sure do ask a lot of dumb questions," Kami-gatta said sounding frustrated now. Shindo suddenly fell to his knees and started feeling nauseous and out of breath. "Let's get one thing straight, I am nothing like an arashi. I am power incarnate. I have enough power to destroy a solar system in a second. And dont bother thinking I'm your imagination because I have ways of showing my existence is real," he said with a look of pure bloodlust in his eyes. "I'm sure you're wondering why your body feels heavy, that's because only an eighteenth of my full power is being used right now," he said before stopping his exhibition of power. "Sorry about that. I'm a little short tempered," he said while helping Shindo back to his feet.

"It's cool bro. I understand," Shindo said while taking deep breaths. "I just have one more question if you don't mind," he said. "Sure, go ahead," Kami-gatta replied. "Ok, so how exactly did you end up here? I mean, in my body," Shindo asked. "The easiest way to put it is that I made an oath to someone and I plan on keeping it. And it's best if you dont ask about the person I made the vow to. Well at least not now anyways," Kami-gatta responded. "Interesting. Can I go now?" Shindo asked.

"Not yet, you still need a weapon and that's what I'm going to give you before you leave," Kami-gatta responded before pulling Shindo out of the chair to another section the empty room. He then flung his hand upwards before resting it back down. Out of nowhere, a large steel door appeared. Kami-gatta pushed the door open without any effort revealing a room full of weapons that Shindo had seen at one point or another in his life. "This is the weapons vault. Feel free to gasp in awe," Kami-gatta said with a warm smile on his face. Shindo stepped inside looking around as if it were his first time laying his eyes on these weapons.

The alignment of weapons along the walls made the vault feel like a military paradise. One particular pair of items stood out however. It was a sickle-shaped blade attached to a polished black pole connected to a long black chain. "I want these," he said with both of them in his hands. "Kusarigama? Fine choice indeed. I always loved those things. And the drums," Kami-gatta said while standing by the door. "So I can keep them?" Shindo asked excitedly. "Of course, go nuts with them. However, do you have any problems with tattoos?" Kami-gatta inquired. "Not necessarily. Why?" Shindo asked back. "Nothing really. It's just that these will be tattooed onto your forearms for easy access," Kami-gatta replied. "I'm okay with that. Thanks I guess," Shindo answered.

"Alright Shindo my boy, I believe our time here is coming to a end. If you would kindly follow me," Kami-gatta said while directing Shindo back to the throne. "If you would kindly sit down," he said. Shindo complied and sat down. Kami-gatta softly laid his hand on Shindo's head. "Until next time, young master," Kami-gatta said with a smile on his face. "Hey, we're in this together, whatever "this" is. So none of that 'master' garbage. Just call me Shin and I'll call you Kami. Deal?" He said as he vanished from the throne. "Deal...Shin," Kami-gatta replied while looking down at the empty throne. He sat back down and flung his head up. "And now, I wait," Kami-gatta muttered to himself before closing his eyes.
