Big B

Lucian was not an orphan like most protagonists. He had a family, not unlike anyone else. Parents that loved him in equal messures as they annoyed him (some time the balance was questionable). He had two siblings, one younger brother and sister. He had been able to push the thoughts of them behind him as he was still in the now of being transmigrated.

But when he looked at the behemoth, standing on her shaky legs, with a sowlen belly, staring at them with all her guard up, his might started exploding to connect him to his past. His initial thoughts were on the matrelnal instinct of behemoth, that let to remembering his mother… his home.

It is not always that you need specific words or action that will remind you of certain past. Your mind sometimes just connects dotes out of the context.

Like now from the strength he saw in the maternal feelings of behemoth, lucain was reminded of his family.

He didn't want to fall into that void right now, he knew it was bad. But delaying the investable is all his will could muster rightnow 'Maybe when I am not in perpectual danger.'

"Hey what are we waiting for. Come on, Let finsh her."

"No Lilith, lets leave her be."

"Huh… why?"

"Don't ask you wont understand."

"Are you calling me stupid."

"No… lets just back away slowly okay."

The behemoth relaxed a bit but still looked ready to fight for the life inside her. Fortunate for her that lucain was the one who had found her and not any other beast.

The behemoth went down on her knees not being able to stand for long. She was moaning in pain. Her dull deep wails said that the baby behemoth was due any second. Lucain didn't want to make her fell any more discomfort for being there so he turned away. This was the fist time ever that he had his back open to an unknown titan. But the one behind him, was in no way a danger to him. Rather she was so weak any compitant titan could be the death of her.

Leaving behemoth behind them, Lucian and the gang were walking away wanting to leave the behemoth in peace to give birth.

"Lord, is guardian going to be okay?"

"She will be fine Ray."

"Realy."

"Yes, do you know how we didn't find any big predators around."

"Yes."

"It was most probly the behemoth who eather chased them away or hunted the area clean in prepration for the birth."

It looked to be that everything was going smoothlu, but would the story even be worth anything if there was no crisis. So with the fate at play, just after lucain finished speaking. A dust could was rising over the horizon.

Lucian with his superior vision instantly noticed for what was the cause.

"Death Jackles."

They were notorias beast of the monsterverese, always hunting without fear or caution. But the most scary thing about them was that they always travelled in packs. And this particular one had more than a dozen.

"There are to many, lets avoid them." Said Lilith.

If it was any other time, Lucian would have listen and done just that. It was not smart to fight here. But Lucian was in the feels.

"Huh… No lets help."

"What has happened to you. Is that your baby."

"Don't talk non sense, you will stay by my side or what."

"You will be the death of me. It is my mistake to have followed you."

Lucian goes back towards the behemoth and conveys his aim to protect her from the incoming danger.

The behemoth looks towards were the Jackles were coming from then turning back to Lucian, she stares him for a moment. She then bows her head towards him.

Lucian picks Ray and rests her on the behemoth.

"Stay with her okay." Lucian said to which Ray nods her head with stiff movements, "Yes lord."

Lucian turns towards the incoming jackals. He then starts running before they get any where near the behemoth and Ray.

"Lilith lets give these jacles our special combo, I stun, you slice."

"You only have to say it once."

*Brrr*

Lucians arms gather lightning around them and then runs making some distance so behemoth doesn't get hurt in the cross fire. He jumps and slams the ground infront of the spearing jackels.

The lound cakle of the lightning colliding to the ground moemtaryly defns the crys of the behemoth who is giving birth. The attack didn't just come with its grandior but also carried power which sent the vanguard jackels blasting away, and the once coming after them into a minor stun.

Lilith then followed lucians attack by diveing down with flaming wings. Cuts into the paralysed jackels. Her speed was remarkable, in the short spam of seconds 3 jackels were already down. Leaving nine more to go.

When ever Lucian released a big aattack there is like a few moments gap before he could transition to attacking. This could be fatal in a battle and more so with multiple opponents. He didn't know if he would ever be able to remove this gap in movement but he knew it was not anytime soon let alone in this battle.

So 3-4 jackels take easy advantage of it and jump on Lucian. They bite their killer jaws on his body. But before even one of them got to sink its teeth into him, Lucian was already passed his cool down. From crouching down He pushed all the jackels away and got up to his feet.

But unintentiall he sent on jackel behind him. Who noticing the behemoth changed his target to her from the raging Lucian.

Lucian trys to grap the beast before he goes away but seeing as the other jakles also tring to rush past him, Lucian only fires a bolt and then turns to block any more from crossing past him.

The bolt although had stuned and done damge to the jackel it had also thrown it closer to the behemoth.

The behemoth didn't know of the stuned state of the beast but knew that it speled danger for the baby. So she grabed the jackel and held it in her arms before it could reach near the baby. it was smart decision if looked back on. But not the best as the jackel coming out of the stuner, started tearing into the behemoth.

If the behemoth was not weak she would have killed the jackel with ease. But giving birth had exuasted her almost empty.

But she still held onto to the jackel with the determination of not letting go even in death.

The jackel was farantic and tasting the blood it was further crased.

Lucian observed this and knew that he had to go and help so he called out to Lilith, "Lilith…" and some instructions.

Lucian send all the jackel to a distance following which Lilith flew down and made a line of fire.

Lucian then turned back and saw the most suprising think that he had never expected to happen in the monsterverse world.

The jackle were bring a lot of the bad memories for Ray. As they looked like the progenaters of the raptors.

And looking at the behemoth who was holding on even as the jackle ferociously bit into her. Ray rebemered her mother who had instructed her away before going back to ther tribe to buy time for her. And now the gardian beast was also in mortal danger.

She wanted to help her.

She didn't want to be that powerless ever again.

The training and hunting her lord had thought her had greatly helped her in knowing she was progressing. But no matter what she had learned it was not practical to be able to hunt titans.

Though she had manifested a courage like no other.

So taking her dagers she jumped on to the jackle.

Landed on top of its head. She was panting. She felt stuffed. Like something in her was rearing to comeout.

she slid towards the eye of the beast then stabing it, she screamed all that had build up in her.

She felt burning all over her body. Then she saw lightning the her lord use shoot trough her.

But she was eaxsted to have any thoughts or even cellbration in accomplishing such a thing.

She was slowly going uncoinces with the last thing she saw was lucian coming and ending the jackles life.
