Before we met George, he was not always in the Order.
George who had always been fascinated by the stories of the Knights of Saint Lazarus. He had grown up hearing tales of their bravery and selflessness, and he had always dreamed of one day joining their ranks.
So, when he was old enough, George set out to seek out the Order of Saint Lazarus. He traveled from England to France and to Rome until finally he sailed to them in Jerusalem. They were everything he had imagined and more. They were brave and selfless, and they devoted their lives to helping the poor and the sick.
George was overjoyed to have found the Order, and he immediately applied to join. He was accepted, and he began his training as a knight. He learned how to fight and how to heal, and he was given a white cloak adorned with a green cross, the symbol of the Order.
For years, George served with the Order, and he was proud of the work that he did. He helped to heal the sick and the wounded, and he fought to protect the innocent. But as time passed, George began to notice that something was not right with the Order. They were no longer the selfless and noble knights that he had first joined.
Instead, George began to see that the Order was becoming corrupt. They were using their power and influence for personal gain, and they were turning a blind eye to the suffering of the people they were supposed to be helping. George couldn't stand by and watch this happen, so he decided to speak up.
But when George tried to raise his concerns with the other members of the Order, they didn't want to listen. They were too caught up in their own greed and power, and they saw George as a threat to their authority. So, they decided to get rid of him.
George was ordered to guide the Crusaders to Jerusalem, so he left Jerusalem not knowing that he is sent to die in there, but fortunately he encoutered the Crusader parties near Constantinople, there one of the Hospitalliers received a letter from the Pope that no one shall siege the City of Constantinople, but the Hospitallier Knight was killed and one by one the witnesses was killed by the Venetians, he saw the letter and fled the scene, he was pursued by them but minutes have passed they finally given up to pursue him, he still holds the letter but now an wanted man, he knew that the Order and the Venetians will kill him on sight so he fled to Thessalonica where we encountered him.He was heartbroken, but he knew that he had done the right thing.
George never forgot the lessons he had learned as a member of the Order of Saint Lazarus. He knew that true courage and nobility came from standing up for what was right, even when it was hard or unpopular. And he knew that true heroes were those who put the needs of others before their own.
In the end, George's departure from the Order was the best thing that could have happened to him. He was no longer a part of an organization that had lost its way, and he was free to continue to live his life with integrity and purpose.
He now serves under the Emperor Justinian Nikephoros, he personally given him the money to rebuild the righteous order again, after that he invited the loyal Saint Lazarus Knights to join him and leave the corrupt order. And soon the Hospitalliers also joined his army and still both orders still helps the sick and the poor.
