In the last hut which Xueming had yet to explore, there were no shelves, furnaces, or medicine brewing cauldrons. Not even a single table or tool was placed in the hut, as there were dozens of large jars lined up within the small room. However, almost all of them were empty except for the one at the very end which was placed against the wall. It was a jar containing humans with only a head sticking out which Xueming originally thought was the owner of this place.


As soon as Xueming pushed the bamboo door open, a…squeaking sound of the bamboo grating on each other echoed. The pale neck leaning against the edge of the big jar suddenly erected as evidence that the person in that large jar was still alive.
