When they got to the castle, Adele snuck them onto the premises and then into the castle via a backdoor entrance into the kitchen.
“You do know I taught you this move, right?” said Ethan’s angry voice. “Where the hell were you?! I was worried sick!”
“Ethan, I know okay? But-”
“No, no more buts. This is over. You will not see him again, end of discussion,” Ethan glared angrily.
Aaron didn’t understand what was happening. After Keira called her Adele, he’d let go of all the questions, but now he found he only had more. Okay sure, she’s his captain or whatever, but their relationship was so intimate. Why did he get to tell her what to do? Why was he so worried about her? His glaring was getting under Aaron’s skin.
“Who are you to tell her who she can and can’t see?” Aaron asked, his voice low and threatening.
