Aria was lying next to Aaron, not saying anything, when his phone rang. He gently took his hands out of hers and turned around to answer.
"It's your boyfriend," said Aaron with a grin. "He must not be too happy-"
Troy didn't call Aaron ever. Something was wrong. Aria grabbed the phone out of his hand and answered it.
"What's wrong?" she asked, her voice taking on a cold, business like tone.
"Give the phone back to Boyfriend A, Aria," Troy said.
His voice was controlled, perfect. He had to be pissed off as hell right now that she hadn't come home. Something was definitely wrong.
"Stop deflecting and tell me what's wrong Troy."
He hesitated, but this was life or death. There wasn't time for this.
"The base is compromised. Someone's here. You stay there and let Aaron-"
"The hell I will!"
Aaron grabbed the phone back from her.
"What's happening?"
