CHAPTER 10

  That sounded like yet another dream getting ready to burst into my reality. I had my bath and selected my lingerie very carefully. Shopping might mean trying on new clothes. Based on this, I decided on an outfit that would be easy to take off and put back on: a long black sundress would be fine.

  I quickly performed my wrists, neck, and back of my ears, let my braids down, and dashed out of the room. I saw him standing in front of the Tv. He looked handsome even more than I could remember.

  "Good morning, Xander," I said, walking up to him.

  "Maddison. It was good to see you again. How are you doing today? I hoped you slept well, right?" He asked.

  "Yes, what about you?

  "I slept great. Here's my card, you are going shopping. He handed me a chunk of the journal with his signal written on it. I'm guessing you will need new clothes."

  "Thank you so much, "I said, hugging him.
