CHAPTER 19

On my 23rd birthday, I decided to do something different for myself. I decided to enroll in a first-class culinary institute and get a professional chef's diploma. The course duration was for a year, the timetable was flexible, and also I would be able to attend classes and monitor my business.

Things have turned around at my shop in the last year, and it has become more successful than I could have imagined. Focusing on yourself takes lots of discipline and hard work, and I was willing to pay the price. I went shopping every day, taking inventory, and ordering myself.

I reached out to the event planner and collaborated on supplying drinks. I promoted the business in the best way I could. Then the blessing started rolling in. The result of hard work is income.

As soon as I got admitted into culinary school, I employed an experienced manager who came highly recommended, no more random sales representatives without guarantors. I was wiser now.
