SILVER MOON INN

It's been an hour since I left that store.

I am still walking around the city, asking questions about the most recommended Inn for a man with no money like me.

Of course, I didn't mean to be literal. I have a lot of money but all of that money is in the form of gold, rare ores, rare material, rare monster drops, monster cores, and more, each one of these that I mentioned was already worth millions, billions heck even trillions of Valis.

At first, I tried asking for a gold exchange, money exchange along those lines, so that I could change my assets to Valis, however, the bank was already closed so I didn't have any money right now, only my handmade gold coins and that vast asset of wealth, I hope those Inn's accept my coins.

Because of this problem, I changed my strategies and asked some randomly for an Inn that accepts ancient gold coins as payments.

Most shops don't accept gold coins with unknown origins, the Padalapan is an exception though, and most shops rarely accept it. 

The Dark Elvish coins that June gave to me are not helpful in this case either, that money only gives me trouble, if I try to exchange it, all the greedy bastards in the world will hunt me down.

The Archama Village currency has a very high exchange rate for all nations in this world. By the way, Archama Village currency is a silver color coin with a crimson color crystal at its center.

A Single coin is equivalent to 5 billion Valis. This extremely high and terrifying exchange rate was caused by the material that was used in creating this currency. a single coin is made with very high purity mithril and a rare crystal called Veruth, this crystal has a crimson color and it has unbreakable properties that can only be broken by a level 8 individual. These two materials are worth 3 to 2 billion Valis respectively making the coin have a terrifyingly high exchange rate.

"Hey uncle can I ask something?" I asked an uncle selling vegetables in his stall.

I am still in the western main street of the City, wandering around the place asking some questions about the Inns in this city.

Right now I am asking the 20th person that I met and ask about the Inns around the city. The 19 people that I first asked ignored me or didn't know what I was asking for.

The uncle nodded her head.

"Do you know any places that accept some gold coins as a payment?"

The uncle looked at me and then laughed, "It looks like you have a good catch huh."

I also laughed and didn't correct his misunderstanding, "Yeah, I got lucky and at the same time unlucky, you see I gained some treasure and at the same time I lost my belongings including my money."

"That's some bad luck there," Uncle laughed while saying that.

I pretended that I was hurt by his words.

Seeing my reaction the Uncle forcefully stop his laugh, be it barely.

The Uncle coughed and then said while peeling a potato using a huge knife, "I can recommend two places, the Silver Moon and the Hoogon's Inn, those two inns are the only inns that accept treasure-related payments and to reach there."

The Uncle blubber the direction of the two Inn for an hour before stopping.

My mouth twitches remembering all the hundreds of curves and intersections that I need to take to reach there.

"Uncle, are you sure that you are talking about the street, not the dungeon?"

Uncle laughed and said, "No I am not, the street of this city is designed to be this complicated like a maze for defensive purposes which is very effective, however, it is also bothersome, many people lose their ways for a day or even weeks thanks to the maze-like structure of this city." when he reached the end of his words, his expression become solemn giving an impression that he is saying this words from his experience.

I laugh awkwardly.

"Thank you uncle see you later."

Uncle waved his hands while he shouted, "Don't get lost, if you do I won't visit you're grave."

I only wave my hands to the uncle.

I followed the Uncle's words and picked one of the two inns that he mentioned.

I have chosen the Silver Moon Inn, the reason? Well, it was the nearest Inn to my location.

That Inn was at least 3km away from my location and the road was a bit tricky.

To reach that store, I at least needed to turn a lot of junctions and curves.

A few hours later.

"I finally arrive."

I was in front of the Inn, giving the Inn a once over.

The Silver Moon Inn was a massive building made of bricks with three floors.

The first floor is a tavern, and the second and third floors where the rooms of accommodation

"Welcome to the Silver Moon Inn, what can I help you with" Said a cute red-haired girl.

The cute red-haired girl was at the counter, behind the counter you could see a lot of keys hanging.

The design of the counter was similar to Earth the only difference was there was no technology such as phones, computers, and cash boxes.

I smile and reply to the girl, "I want to book one room with one bed for a week, also do you offer breakfast and dinner?"

"Yes, we offer breakfast and dinner, I will add that up to your logging?" The cute girl replies.

I nodded my head in agreement.

"If all we add the logging, breakfast, and dinner, that will be 9,000 Valis."

I nodded my head and took out 9 gold coins with dragon emblems.

The cute girl picked up the gold coins and said, "A gold coin huh, did this come from the ancient tombs and structures perhaps?"

"Yes, I found it in the forest just recently."

The cute girl nodded her head and checked the coin.

After a few minutes.

"These are pure gold, this will be enough", the girl takes the coins and puts them away.

After doing that, she smiled and said while handing me a key to my room, "It will be on the second floor room 7."

I took the key and thanked her.

The cute girl smiles and replies, "Welcome, and thanks for your patronage."

I went to my room and immediately fell to the bed.

I look out the window and see the night sky.

It is already evening when I arrive.

I stare at the sky for a while before falling asleep, but before completely falling asleep, a thought pops up in my mind and then I whisper a word. 

"I'll visit that place tomorrow."

My eyes slowly closed and then drifted into the dreamland.

In the middle of the night, the moon already rises above the beautiful night sky which is a carpet of twinkling stars.

However, this beautiful sight was overwhelmed by a massive castle of unfathomable size that even the True Creators had a hard time measuring and comprehending, without the use of their full capabilities and might which is the Forbidden.

On this fantastic night sky.

The land was bathed with the gentle light of the moon, giving a faint light from the dark world of the cold and gentle night.

Cold breeze blows leaves and brunches of the trees creating a beautiful and relaxing sound in partnered with the sounds of the crickets.

In the city, there is no light anymore and all the people are now asleep in the comfort of their beds.

On this gentle and relaxing night, On top of the tallest tower of the Castle of Blue Rose City.

There is a silhouette standing on top.

Thanks to the clouds the silhouette identity was a mystery.

However thanks to the silhouette's curvaceous shape, you can tell that the silhouette belongs to a woman, moreover, the silhouette has two wings just above her waist indicating that this woman is not a human and if you look closely you will notice that the silhouette has two horns.

A golden glows was released from the silhouette opens eyes, that has slit pupils, like a dragon's eyes.

Her eyes were focused on a certain Inn, on one of its rooms.

In that room, the light was turned off making most people have difficulty seeing, but the silhouette is not most people, thanks to her eyes that can see everything, the darkness of the night doesn't bother her.

Because of this, the silhouette can see what is inside the room without any problem.

Inside the room, she could see a man of short stature lying on the bed asleep.

The man has black messy and short hair and a well-balanced build that can be hidden under his clothes. this man that can be easily mistaken as a pallum is undoubtedly John sleeping peacefully.

Watching John asleep, her eyes glow with mysterious glints.

The silhouette showed a gentle smile before disappearing without any trace like she didn't exist in the first place.
