Crazy Pumpkin Head Part 5: The Knight Commander of Foreign Lands.

Picking up all the reinforcement that responded to the call of the Blue Rose City, the Massive Aircraft heads toward Blue Rose City. With the massive aircraft's Se1-57 speed, in just a few minutes the Se1-57 arrives at the Blue Rose City airspace, casting a shadow throughout the city and its surroundings.

In the infinite expanse of the Se1-57 Hangar Bay, a gigantic army consisting of hundreds of thousands of knights and adventurers lines up to assemble an organized formation.

Each of the commanders was standing still in front of their legion, Edwin was among them.

On the opposite side of this great army, there is a makeshift stage made of metal, this stage was provided by the hunter soldiers of the Massive Aircraft Se1-57.

At this stage, the leading Commander of the Knight Army stood there watching the gigantic army in front of him, this leader was The General of the Metron Empire from the western region of the continent, he was General Lambert Navarr the great warlord of the west, a level 6 individual.

Right beside General Lambert is the captain of this Massive Aircraft Se1-57, Major Gapo Vanyo.

Gapo took out an advanced microphone from his storage space and handed it over to Lambert.

Lambert received the cutting-edge microphone with a calm expression like nothing could shake him.

Inwardly that was a different story, his mind was chaotic, and his worldview was on the verge of collapse, everything he knew and believed in since he was born was on the brink of destruction.

He never thought in his life that he would see a huge mechanical construct with an infinite-size interior and advanced technology with many unknown capabilities it has to the point of omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent was an understatement, The huge metallic golem that they called Mecha or Robot, a living metal that could think and move, a perfect homunculus born from the apex of Magic and Alchemy, weapons of multiverse destruction from legend. Lost magic and unique techniques from legends are just basic knowledge for them, destroying the multiverse and beyond was easy for them, and more was hidden.

After receiving the cutting-edge microphone, Lumbert didn't know how to use it, but thankfully Gapo helped him and taught him the basics of how to use an advanced microphone.

With the microphone on, Lumbert speaks and explains the situation and why they are called into battle. At this point, a debriefing is led by Lambert while the Soldier Hunters watch on the sideline without interfering.

Edwin who always slept in this kind of event, was surprisingly attentive.

He didn't know why but Edwin felt something significant would happen, that's why he was serious and took aside his bad traits for now and led his legion to the best of his ability.

The Hunters started to move guiding all the legion of knights while giving instructions to the Legion commanders of each legion.

Some of the arrogant legion commanders were annoyed with being instructed by someone, so they tried to make a scene but Commander Lumbert stepped in shutting them all up with a death glare.

Lumbert who was exuding dignity and confidence was internally sweating bullets out of fear [Fools! This stupid mo&%%# &*& commander didn't even know the strength of these people, a single soldier hunter no, the weakest of them is capable of destroying multiple worlds in an instant, and you're just a weak mortal that couldn't even cut a mountain, you tried to offend them with that weak strength! I want to kill these fools so badly] Commander Lumbert Shouted in his heart, trying his best not to kill the fools in front of him.

While this was happening, the Soldier Hunter continued their business and guided the Legion of Knights to the helicopter.

A blue veins appeared on Corpel's forehead and shouted back, "Bastard, keep moving and don't talk back."

"Is this how your soldiers behave?" Edwin asks while watching the chaotic but somehow organized scene in front of him

The Soldiers Hunter was relaxed and they didn't use any honorifics nor call out their rank when they were talking to each other, but it is a different story when they are serious or formal events.

Jaal who was right beside Edwin replied with a shrugged.

One by one the entire legion boarded the huge helicopters and when they were all boarded.

The Hangar Bay of the Se1-57 opened.

The helicopter's engine roared, the blades slowly rotated and little by little it gained enough momentum to be lifted.

The huge helicopters flew passing through the vast Hangar bay, and flying out to the huge door of the hangar bay.

The huge helicopters descended into the city landing on the nearby open area.

After that, they all disembarked and assembled in the wide grasslands.

Lumbert gazed at the huge army of knights in front of him, then led them to the large gate of the Blue Rose City.

On the other hand, thousands of huge helicopters flew again after bringing down the army of knights and returned to Se1-57 floating above the sky.

When all the huge helicopters returned to Se1-57 hangar bay, they immediately left, leaving nothing but the wide beautiful sky and the memory of its majestic presence in the hearts of the people who saw it.

After the huge Army of knights reached the Blue Rose city, They were welcomed by one of the Knight division's captains of the city, leading them to the city towards their destination.

This Captain was Sery Vivi Cornilia captain of the 4th division and also the younger sister of Seria Vivy Cornilia captain of the 9th division.

Captain Sery Vivi Cornelia has flowing blue hair with a red streak, adorned with a golden headpiece. She is wearing a detailed, ornate outfit that includes a red and gold top, a white apron-like skirt with intricate designs, and thigh-high red boots. She always holds a book in one hand, suggesting she might be a mage. her confident stance and elegant figure signifying her high status.

When They entered the city gate they immediately saw the scars of the recent battle.

Countless houses and buildings were burnt down, and the stone roads and walls were scared with claws and explosions, and the smell of blood was carried through the air.

Edwin and Lambert were walking side by side while Captain Sery was walking in front leading them.

"Captain Sery, sorry for being insensitive, but I want to ask if the city was destroyed," Lambert asked with a serious face.

"We didn't know the full extent of the damage that the city received, there is no information stated in the request letter from the Captain Commander and the helicopters didn't have any windows so we didn't know much, we need to know so that we can help you efficiently as possible," Edwin elaborates.

"Only the west district," Sery replied flatly.

"Are there any casualties?" Lambert.

"None," Sery.

"Shit! What a good fortune this land has," Edwin said with a pained expression, he was remembering the misfortune that he endured just to lessen the casualties of his knight in each war against monsters that he led.

"Edwin language!" Lambert shouted angrily.

"Nah relax bro," Edwin.

Sery ignores the two banter, "Fortune? I wouldn't say that, we just have good and strong friends that's all."

"Here we are, this is the Western District Barracks, rest here for a while, you need that for the debriefing later," Sery said while leaving Edwin and Lambert with their huge army in the open area.

"Rest!" Lambert commanded while using mana to enhance his throat.

"Ah ho Ah Ho!" the army shouted simultaneously, shaking the ground and air with their unified roar of agreement.

The army started to build their tents and makeshift facilities needed for the upcoming conflict.

Sigh! Edwin watches the majestic army in front of him.

"What's the matter kid?" an old knight asks.

"I'm your superior, old man," Edwin

"You're still a kid in my eyes," Old knight.

The old man handed over a bottle of wine to Edwin.

Edwin took it and started to drink.

The old man sat right beside him and said.

"So what's bothering you, knight commander?" Old knight.

"Am I that easy to read?" Edwin.

"It will come with age," Old knight.

"I'm just confused," Edwin.

"Confuse of what? Old knight.

"Well the Ambist, it is recorded in history that they were extinct 3 centuries ago," Edwin.

"This will be a hard fight, no this will be a massacre," Old Knight.

Edwin looks at the old knight with a raised eyebrow.

"Do you know something, old man," Edwin.

The old knight with a melancholy look said, " You don't want to know kid."

"Tsk, just say it." Edwin.

"Ancient Hordes, is this ringing a bell?"

Edwin who heard this doesn't show any fluctuation on his face.

"As I thought," Edwin.

"Hahaha, you already knew it huh?" Old knight.

"Not really, but I do have some expectations about it since I heard that the city was attacked by an Ambist," Edwin.

"Sigh, just follow what you think is right to do right now commander." Old knight.

"Yeah, I'll do that," Edwin.

The two continue to drink waiting for the debriefing that catered for them and afterward, the war against the horde of Ambist began.
