"Okay, I got it. Thanks Lin." Adrian Wang sighed as he hung up the call. He rubbed his temple to ease his headache. It was really not easy to join a production crew. However, he does not have a choice he can only continue to survive.
Adrian was an orphan with no mother and father. At his youth, he stayed in an orphanage. It continued until he reached seventeen years old and decided to leave. From then on, he started doing odd jobs. Waiter, cook assistant, salesman, construction worker, he did all those jobs just to earn money and feed himself.
Then there was the agent Sun that he met when he was nineteen. Agent Sun recruited him to his agent company, the Star Rise Entertainment Company. At first he vehemently refused. He knew that entertainment industry was not a safe place, it was in fact complicated and quite deep. He didn't want to fall into that.
However, reality forced him to agree. Being a celebrity was after all a lucrative job. He can earn lots of money if nothing goes wrong.
From then on he started to work in to the Star Rise Entertainment Company. He signed a contract with them for six years. For the first two years, everything went well. Though not famous as A-list celebrities at least his face was familiar with the masses. At that time, he thought that his luck finally revealed itself.
Everything was going smoothly but that only lasted until his agent company was declared to be on the verge of bankruptcy. He didn't know the inside story as he was just one of their artist. As such, the Star Rise Entertainment Company that was one of the three major entertainment company in their country shrunk into a small company.
The rich opportunities and resources before were all gone. He was only twenty-two at that time, at the prime of his career. If was given an opportunity, he will be sure a hit.
Adrian smiled bitterly. It seemed that he was really unlucky.
Now, at the age of twenty-five he was still struggling to survive in the entertainment industry. Sure, he was indeed very hardworking but one can't only be hardworking, opportunities were also needed.
He tightly gripped the steering wheel as continues to drive. He needed to quickly of a way to earn money. He estimated that his money will only last for a half a month.
His savings for the first two successful years of his career were all used up by the last three years. After all, with the low paid works and needs to eat, he can only used his savings.
Adrian Wang sighed for the second time. He cleared away all his worries and started to think about his next plans.
He looked straight ahead and saw a car launching speedily towards him. He instinctively turned his car to avoid the approaching car. His mind was in a mess, he didn't know as to why a car was driving towards him he only knew that he needed to avoid it.
Loud screening sound and screams of people sounded amidst the tense atmosphere.
Adrian heaved a long breath before his car was dragged by the speeding car by the trunk. He wasn't successful in avoiding it.
...
Adrian Wang hastily opened his eyes. He's not dead?
