At the age of 19, Sylvester was sold to the government with the promise of returning to his family once he had passed the training.

Little did he know he would endure a year of torture from numerous experiments carried out on him to weaponize his dormant ability.

Broken and on the verge of death from the mental strain, his little sister–Lila was brought to the facility to replace him, a failed Anomaly.

In a place that would make death seem like a better alternative, the siblings adapted, plotted their escape, and broke free with the help of a little group of awakened outlaws.

But, now that they were under the clear blue skies of the peaceful world, they realized that there was no room for them in this era of civilization, love, and stability. After all, to the world, they were disastrous monsters that had to be put down, irrespective of the cost.

This forced them into hiding to establish the Izan Renegades, an alliance whose sole purpose is to raze the pillars of twisted justice and discrimination against awakeners. Compelling the world into accepting them, or tearing them down in the process.

Strongest Awakener: Villain's Ascent

The students all make it back to their seats in a hurry.

The tense atmosphere in the gymnasium has everyone on edge after witnessing the fight between two students earlier today. The students anxiously await the outcome of the match between Aiden, who represents the boys, and Lila, who represents the girls.

"No rules," Lila emphasizes with a grin.

Aiden nods, smiling, and says, "I can work with that!" He advances towards her, but she quickly steps back to avoid being struck by his épée.

Lila grabs hold of the weapon tightly and strikes Aiden in the jaw with her elbow.

Aiden cries out in pain, falling onto his knees while clutching his mouth. "What was that for?"

Lila looks down at him coldly as he tries to stand up straight, then lunges at him once more, as if nothing had happened.

Aiden fails to block the swing of her leg and is sent flying across the room, landing hard against the wall with a groan of agony.
