Gabe meets Andrew!

Summer shook her head violently.

"No, no… I want the flower arrangements in the middle of each table to follow the exact same design, the ones around the entrance and the ones around the band have to be the same exact same arrangements too!"

The florist was the cherry on top of her Sunday, and she was just about done being polite about it. The man was changing everything!

"Sir, if you have your notes mixed then I'll gladly come by first thing in the morning and meet again with you…"

Andrew sighed disapprovingly earning himself a glare, she pressed her index fingers against her lips in a silent shushing gesture.

"...Well, if you're sure that your notes are fine, then I expect samples to be ready tomorrow morning for when I come and see them, my apologies but our company is strict on finance rules, the only way I'll be able to make a down payment for you is after approving the samples myself. And since we're very short on time, please note that if something goes wrong tomorrow, we're canceling the order on the spot, oh, I'm driving through a tunnel my connection might…"

Summer ended the call with a groan and then looked at Andrew's face when she felt his gaze on her, his expression was somewhere between impressed and annoyed. They had just parked in front of her apartment building, and she had spent the entire ride back from her company to her home arguing with the florist about the arrangements for the yacht event.

"What?" She asked when the strange expression on his face lingered.

He smiled wickedly, "I had no idea that people still used the tunnel excuse to hang up on somebody,"

Summer squirmed, her foot throbbed in the process, and Andrew lost all the humor that was on his face. "You did something unnecessary today," he blamed.

"...Tell me about it," she fumbled with her shawl recalling the embarrassing incident that took place in front of Valentine, "I should've just left it on the floor, why did I have to pick it up?" She asked herself more than she asked Andrew.

"…I swear Summer, you never get a word of what I say correctly," he muttered low.

"What?" She asked then squeezed her eyes shut when another throb made its way right until it reached the lower part of her back.

"I said it's time for the painkillers," Andrew rolled his eyes then saw that she was about to open her door, "Wait, don't move an inch," he ordered, "I'm coming to get you,"

He unbuckled his seatbelt and opened the driver's door then walked around his car to her door and opened it up for her. Andrew gently pulled her up by the waist with one hand and placed his other hand under hers when she was able to stand up straight.

"I'll take it from here," said a fast-approaching Gabe who seemed to be gliding on the ground instead of walking.

"Gabe!" Summer said excitedly, her resolve to talk things through before forgiving her brother nowhere to be found.

Andrew's eyes glided down summer's figure as he felt her muscles relaxing, then he looked at Gabe who was checking his sister's foot, "I think it would be best if we both helped her up, I'm pretty sure it's in a much worse condition than how it was in the morning, she shouldn't have been there in the office with us today,"

Gabe looked straight into Andrew's eyes, "And you are?"

Summer detected that same haughty tone in her brother's voice, but this was not Valentine, and so she slightly leaned on Andrew for support, pursed her lips, and hit her brother's shoulder.

"What was that for!" He exclaimed.

"YOU introduce yourself first, Gabriel Taylor,"

He rubbed his shoulder, "Didn't you just do it on my behalf?"

Andrew glanced at his wristwatch meaningfully, then looked straight into blue eyes that resembled Summer's so much, "I'm Andrew Wilson, Summer's colleague. As I said, I think it would be best for both of us to take her up,"

Gabe hated to agree with yet another stranger that had his arm around his sister, he considered carrying her in his arms but was worried about moving her leg around too much.

She was following her brother's silent logic, "Let's do as he says, Gabe, I don't think I can take much of this pain anymore," Summer felt like crying, she placed a hand on each of the men's shoulders while they helped her walk slowly, they were exactly the same height, so the walk went very smoothly.

The three of them were almost at her door when she turned her head to the left and looked up at Gabe, "Thank you for the cab, by the way,"

Gabe frowned, "What cab?"

"…The one that you sent in the morning to take me to work…" his frown didn't waver, "...You sent it... didn't you? The driver said your name!" She was suddenly very uncomfortable having gone along with the driver without questioning the situation any further.

"It wasn't me," Gabe stated. He quickly came up with a possibility, there was only one man in the entire world bold enough to use Gabe's name in a situation like this. It was all because of the conversation they had the evening before, "…Zack," Gabe murmured to himself, and to that, Summer stopped and tensed, half expecting that Zack was somewhere nearby, she looked to the left and to the right but saw no one after all.

"That's the same person who sent you the roses, right?" Andrew commented in a cold tone, fully comprehending the situation without needing any further explanation.

"What roses?!" Gabe grumbled.

When a new wave of tenseness erupted through Summer's body. Andrew eyed Gabe meaningfully, "Perhaps I should be the one to talk to him then?"

It was Gabe's turn to tense, "And why would you do that, exactly?"

Andrew smirked, "To put him in his place obviously…"

Gabe smirked too but it looked all wrong, "If you think Summer needs someone to put a man in his place instead of her, then you don't know her at all,"

The smile on Andrew's face disappeared as quickly as it came, "Just because she was always capable of lifting the weight, doesn't mean she doesn't get tired every now and then,"

"Are you trying to teach me about my own sister?" He glared menacingly.

"Gabe," she half warned half groaned now that they came to a stop in front of her door.

"Why are you offended? Isn't it normal for one of the love interests to see something that a brother wouldn't?"

Gabe was taken aback, he decided to reassess the situation all over again, 'A bold statement,' he thought with a tint of admiration towards the man who radiated confidence in waves around him.

"Well! Look at the time!" Summer looked at her watch without seeing the time, "Andrew!" She leaned her head as far as possible and forced a smile, "Thank you so much for the delivery! Now, if you'll excuse us," She glared at Gabe, "Open the door," she said through clenched teeth.

"I assume you're planning on coming tomorrow too," Andrew concluded without asking when she removed her arm away, "I'll pick you up," he said without a hint of hesitation and took a few steps away from the two siblings.

"Andrew!" She called after him a bit louder than she intended to.

He turned around but there were no emotions on his face.

She smiled brightly for him, "Next time... come inside for some coffee," Summer waved a hand and went inside after her brother then closed the door.

"...Did I take it too far back then?" Andrew's words were only above a whisper as he remembered the look on the Gypsy's face that night.
