CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY
“What happened to Seth and to Lou and-”
“Lou and Dayla had been fighting alongside me,” Fera says, slowly. “But all my gurards were slowly being pushed away from me. I was being isolated. I don’t know where they went. Seth – Seth had my back.”
She sounds worried which is odd since I know how furious Fera was with Seth over what happened to Damien.
“He got injured. He’s a good fighter but even he couldn’t take on twenty fighters at once.”
“So, he-?” My question is hesitant.
“I don’t know,” is her grim response. “What I find strange is that even if I couldn’t see through the plotting and planning, Seth has been with Damien this whole time. Why didn’t he see through everything?”
Her question has merit and I try not to take obvious route.
That Seth had been involved.
