CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY FOUR
The Rhoder Tribe has lost some of its senior members. I expect them to lash out at Damien but they do nothing of the sort. I also expected Damien to want to return to the castle almost immediately but he plans to wait for Fera to heal.
“Aren’t you worried?” I ask him as he enters my room, two days later.
“About what?”

“I said about-”
“You called the castle home,” Damien studies me and I freeze.
“I-” My first instinct is to make an excuse but I trust the second instinct which tells me that it is better to be honest. “It is home, isn’t it?”
Damien walks towards me and then reaches out to grab the small pin that is holding my hair in the bun, and yanks it out, making my hair tumble down.
“Damien!” I feel annoyed.
