A second kiss

After dinner, Chris and May watched the movie. At first, May pretended it was interesting. It was not; not one bit.

However, she didn't want to tell Chris that the project he was so proud of was plain. Also, judging by the special effects, it must have cost him a capital.

And the special effects were cool. It was the plot that didn't make much sense. It was boring, with no real unexpected twists. She could have guessed it right from the start, from the first few lines. Among the romance books she had read during the weekend, there were a couple of fantasy books.

They were more interesting that the plain romances, but still... It was all so expected. They had the same plot structure, and the movie was no different.

Good guys would fight the bad guys, then fail but find hope, then win. Nothing new on earth.
