"Everyone freeze! Your hands down!" A manly voice resonated hoarsely in the room causing everyone to shiver.

However, when the guards saw the men in uniform, some of them attempted to shoot, but the police who stormed the house were so fast in taking them down, resulting in others to quickly surrendering.

"No one moves!" One of the police men ordered as his colleagues proceeded and took away all the guns from Mr. Robert's guards, including Leonard's boys.

Just then, Aidan appeared at the scene. Upon setting eyes on Ruby, he rushed to her, calling her name.

"Aidan?" Ruby's eyes widened in disbelief as she jumped up and widened her arms, attempting to embrace her ex-husband.

The two of them tightly embraced each other, allowing the love they have for each other to rule over them.

"I apologize for coming late, Ruby," Aidan whispered into Ruby's ears as she buried her face on his bosom and wept bitterly.
