The driver came to a halt in front of the main door and the two girls alighted from the car. Aida rang the doorbell and seconds later, it was answered by a maid.

"Good afternoon, Miss Aida and Miss Kehlani." The maid greeted.

"Afternoon to you too," Aida replied and they entered the house while the maid shut the door.

The maid was about to leave to continue her chores when Aida called her back.

"She left early this morning,said she had a business meeting to attend. She did mention she would be home in time for dinner." The maid informed her.

"Oh okay, You may leave." The maid bowed and left.

"So what would you like to eat?" Aida asked Kehlani.

"Anything, "Kehlani replied. "I'm starving."

They both headed into the kitchen and found the cook, busy making lunch.
