"What trap?" Alodie probed eagerly when he didn't say anything. "I'm not a big fan of suspense; stop beating about the bush and just tell us this so-called plan," she hissed.
With a gesture of his finger, he asked them to move closer. "We've got tons of enemies, and they may be lurking somewhere. We've got to make sure they're not eavesdropping, as what I'm about to tell you all is very confidential."
"Are you going to talk or just keep spewing irrelevant info?" she snapped.
"Impatience takes you nowhere in life." He tried to pinch her cheek, but she slapped his arm.
"Privileges of being stinky rich; your money gets you whatever you want." He produced a bunch of keys from his pocket, and he jingled them. "All it took was some wads of cash, and I got the security in charge of the question room to hand over the keys to me."
