Chapter 5 :Unexpected Encounter

*Authors note- I might have to take a short break sometime in the near future so that I don't get burnt out or something.*

-------------(Authors POV)-------------

As Lilith continued further down the path toward the village on the map she found, the trees around her start opening up into rolling hills and verdant plaines, as she stops to take in this new scenery she spots a medium-sized grain sack laying in the ditch around 60 foot ahead of her,she decides to search it incase theirs anything useful hidden in it.

As she gets closer, she quickly notices that the sack has a really odd shape,as she goes to open it she gets quite the surprise.

-------------(Liliths Pov)-------------

As soon as I open the grain sack infront of me I quickly realized why it had such a strange shape,there was a girl stuffed in the sack, although she wasn't dead she was unconscious and looked to be in pretty rough shape, after thinking for a moment, I decide to try and save her, I pull her unconscious body out of the bag, and lay her head down on my lap, I pull out one of my st*mp*ks and jam it into her chest, hoping that this actually works,luckily it worked almost instantly, as almost all of the girls injuries began rapidly healing and closing, after a few moments the girls eyes shot open.

-------(Unknown Girls pov)-------

While slowly being devoured by darkness that seems almost infinite, I suddenly feel warmth permeate through my entire body, causing me to wake up, and as I opened my eyes I'm greeted by a really big strangely dressed woman,I also notice that I currently have my head in her lap,my first thought is that I need to get out of here, but my body wouldn't listen so I could only remain still,after a few moments of silence, the woman suddenly speaks up "If it's not too much to ask , I would like to know how you ended up in a bag on the side of the road, and how did you get so many injuries?" Oh, that's right my injuries, why can't I feel them anymore, thats when I look down and notice that all of my injuries are gone,I turn to the woman and ask "Did you do this to me?"

She just smiled and said "Yes I healed your injuries, no need to thank me."

After thinking for a few seconds I try getting up again,after around a minute or two of attempting to get up, I finally manage to get on my feet.

The Woman also starts to stand up,I very quickly notice that this woman is very tall, she's taller than a horse , and I have to look up to talk to her.

After some more awkward silence, the woman once again breaks the tension

"Oh that's right, I haven't introduced myself, Hello my name is Lilith Saiko, What's your name?"

*In her head- That's an odd name, is she a noble or something?*

After a few seconds I also introduce myself.

"my name is Rena"

-------------(Liliths Pov)-------------

As I take a closer look at Rena I remembered that she's absolutely covered in blood, so I take out a towel and my canteen, after soaking part of the towel in water I ask the girl

" Can I wipe the blood off of you?,If anyone saw you they'd think you just killed someone."

After a few seconds Rena answers quietly

"....yes"

after about 5 minutes I finish wiping the girl down, in the process I notice that she's really cute .

"there we go, all finished, do you want some food or water?"

*Rena perks up at the offer of food*

"I'm gonna guess that's a yes then ? "

I take off my backpack and Pull out a Grilled Chicken MRE out of my inventory, pretending to take it out of my bag, Rena gets surprised by the odd appearance of the food I bring out.

"give me a second and I'll prepare this for you"

after following all the steps on the MRE packaging I put everything on a plate and hand it to her along with some water, after a moment of pause she immediately scarfs down the entire plate of food.

*5 minutes later*

"I'm heading towards the village further down this road, do you want to accompany me?"

After a few seconds of thought Rena nods happily and decides to follow me.

I'm really happy that not everybody in this world is like those 4 men I met earlier.

After around an hour of walking I start to notice Rena getting tired , the sun is starting to go down so I decide it's probably a good idea to make camp,I tell Rena we are gonna make camp and head off the road for a little while ,finding a suitable location to rest, I pull up the game menu options and select.

*Portable workshop*

After a few seconds I find what I'm looking for, A portable camper trailer with a bed in it, after selecting the camper and placing it ,it scares Rena as it seemingly appeared out of nowhere, turning to Rena I say

"this is one of my abilities, don't mind it too much"

She seems to understand and doesn't question any further.

after taking out the camper I also take out a mini-radar, it will detect any living thing besides me and Rena and alert me if they get close to the camp.

I close the build menu and walk up to the camper, opening the door, I motion Rena to enter the camper, after hesitating for a moment she gives up and enters without complaint,she quickly gets surprised by the luxurious bed in the camper and I say while pointing to the small shower room

" You can wash yourself over there before going to bed"

After showing her how to use the shower, I quickly take a shower aswell, then I head to bed, suddenly Rena lays on the floor, I look at her strangely and say

"You know you can sleep in the bed if you want, there's plenty of space"

after a few minutes of convincing, Rena gives in and lays down on the bed, quickly drifting off to sleep.
