CHAPTER 1: THE WAR

"Boom!" resonating of bomb explosion erupting at buildings trembled the earth surface.

you can hear screams of terrified people running Helter skelter to save there life's for the massacre that has taken place

sounds of gunshots echoes taking helpless souls to early graves, children slaughtered like animals for there bodies left to be feed by vultures.

"Annasstasia!?"

"Red!?"

a young man about the age of forties summoned his two daughters.

" yes pa!?"

they cried out while running down the stairs.

"come here , wear this quickly!"

"he tossed a white long sleeves too annasstasia who is at the age of sixteen.

"what's going on pa?!" she asked

"the fulani ...." he said with his voice waving cringing with fear as he helped his other twelve years old daughter to wear her hoodie above her head.

"listen to me red once I shout run!, you run. no looking back till you get to the border, just ten miles away from home . okay."

"come" he beckons her too move forward. she walked up to him, he hugged them both.

he released from the hug wiped out a tear that dropped from his eyes to his chick with the back of his hand

blast of boob erupted at there home broke half of the building.

"RUN!"

Jason shouted . the two children took on there hills so did there father out of the building and came to face the massacre and trashed buildings .

"BOOM!" came another bomb making them split . annasstasia ran up straight to the forest while the rest of the family ran in different directions .

she stopped running when she felt exhausted, fog escaped from her mouth, breathing heavily as she walked around the forest helplessly , all she needs to do now is to try and get to the border between north Niger and south Niger as she was told by her father .

she hide behind a tree, when she heard footsteps approaching.

"fast! fast!" one of the villains beacon the rest of the three to walk faster, pointing his rifle upwards.

Annasstasia hide at the tree till the cost was clear. coming out from her hiding area she started to run

coming across a burning house, the arson kept destroying everything left unburned, she squatted her self in the bushes crawling slowly till she crawled away from there.
