Sana sighed as she scrolled through the images that Oliver had sent of his activities during the week, images she had deliberately ignored and it made her feel shitty because she knew her duty as his mistress was to take care of him and commend him when he did something right but the pain she'd felt being reminded that Oliver was going to eventually get bored and leave her made her resolve harden. Sana shoved her phone into her bag because staring at his image was doing nothing to take away the ache that had settled in her chest since the ex-girlfriend incident.

Sana stepped into the elevator as she thought up ways to break off the contract before she got in too deep. The whole relationship had happened because she wanted to keep her job during the competition and now there wasn't even a competition holding her down anymore. So why did she find it so hard to let go of him?
