Chapter 144 : Saving Eliazbeth

Alex jumped into the sea, leaving Jack alone on the boat.

The sea was calm and the water was crystal clear, reflecting the light of the sun. There were colourful fish swimming beneath the surface, and the sound of waves lapping against the shore.

Alex swiftly moved towards the body inside the sea, feeling the cool seawater washing over his skin. As he approached, he could see Elizabeth's pale skin and long, dark hair floating around her body.

She was wearing a white dress, and her eyes were closed as if she was peacefully sleeping. She had a gold medallion floating around her neck in the water.

Alex took Elizabeth in his arms in a princess carry, and swam towards the port, with the waves crashing around him.

He arrived at the port carrying Elizabeth in his arms, her white dress billowing in the water around them. The gold medallion dangling from her neck shone in the sunlight.

He gently placed her on the wooden ground and looked around. He only found an empty port with no human presence. Only the sound of the sea and a few seagulls in the sky.

Then Alex used his telekinesis power to draw water from her lungs, which was swallowed by Elizabeth while she drowned.

Elizabeth coughed out the seawater that she had swallowed and opened her eyes slowly. Alex was relieved to see that she was alright.

Elizabeth slowly opened her eyes and saw Alex standing in front of her. She was still coughing out the seawater she had swallowed and was shocked to see Alex.

With great effort, Elizabeth managed to stand up with the help of Alex. She was trembling and still coughing.

"Long time no see Elizabeth "

"Cough,....you are that person I met on the boat," said Elizabeth while staring at Alex's face.

"Yes, I said we would meet again," said Alex.

While talking, Alex heard many footsteps coming towards them and knew he had to leave quickly.

If he was delayed, he would be surrounded by soldiers, although he could kill all of them in a flash.

It would be annoying to deal with them and he is not a killer who always kills.

"I will be leaving now," said Alex as he tried to leave

But was stopped by Elizabeth as she held Alex's hand

"Wait, I have something to ask" asked Elizabeth wanting answers about Alex.

"Now is not the time," Alex replied, and blue sparks began to appear on his body and disappeared.

Seeing the scene Elizabeth was shocked as she saw Alex's disappearance.

"Elizabeth are you alright?" asked her father who came running with soldiers

"I'm alright," said Elizabeth

"Are you alright?" asked Norrington looking worried

"I'm alright, just need some rest," said Elizabeth as she looked in the direction where Alex disappeared.

"By the way who saved you?" asked Norrington

"Don't know?" said Elizabeth lying

"Okay, take her to the mansion," said Governor Swann ordering the soldiers to escort Elizabeth.

With orders given by the governor, the soldiers escorted Elizabeth to the grand mansion located on the other side of the port. Alex made his way to the docks to meet Jack.

But Alex didn't find Jack anywhere in the port. Alex was confused and concerned as to why Jack wasn't at the docks. He searched the port for any sign of Jack but there was none.

"Well, it seems Jack is fooling around again?" thought Alex as he didn't find Jack. He decided to ignore Jack and explore the city in search of food.

At the same time

Little did Alex know that Jack was actually in a tavern, eating and drinking. Alex had no way of knowing what Jack was up to, and he was left to his own devices.

"Do you know how great a pirate I am?"

"I'm Jack Sparrow, the one and only captain of the Black Pearl."

"Stop fooling me, I'm not a kid," said the person who was sitting in front of Jack.

"It is true, I'm the captain of that ship," said Jack

"Black pearl is just a legend," said the Person not believing Jack.

"You don't have to believe me," said Jack with a smirk, as if he was fooling around.

"But I am telling the truth," said Jack. As he was joking

Time passed slowly and night arrived.

In the darkness of night, the port of Port Royal was alive with the sound of waves crashing against the docks. The city was shining with the light of a thousand candles and the stars were twinkling in the night sky.

Suddenly, a ship appeared on the horizon and sailed towards the port of Port Royal. On the deck of the ship stood a tall figure shrouded in darkness. The ship was a sinister sight at night, its sails billowing in the wind and its lanterns casting an eerie glow.
