The Three Dragon Types

Dragons are the most powerful natural creatures in the world. When one swoops down, it's all hell set loose. Regular humans won't have a say in their life anymore.

"I heard him approaching in the distance," Saint Migos said, "The ground couldn't help but tremble in fear when the beast rumbled like a bee in the distance."

"When it roared, all windows shattered." He said with a scared face, "I prayed to god as the glass pierced my back. And I got a single answer," He looked up, "It's over. I got a nice place for you in heaven,"

Saint Migos smacked his beer mug on the table, "The fucker abandoned us. He gave up even trying!"

"Calm down. That's a god you're talking about." A man hushed him, "Do you want us to get blasted?"

"Don't worry, that coward won't even dare look at us." The saint lifted his sleeves, showing a tattoo with the mark of a dragon. "Unless he wants a dragon to kill his remaining followers." The saint smiled. "Let me fill you in on a secret. There is only one way to kill a god. It is to kill all his followers."

"Are you sure it's okay for you to spit that? You're from the church." The man looked at him, exhausted.

"The church be damned. Mages, fighters, gods, cultivators, paladins. They are all worthless in front of the raw might of the dragons." Saint Migos smiled.

The dragons' types:

The dragons are divided into three main categories, chromatic, Metallic, and lastly, magic dragons.

Chromatic dragons are considered innately evil, with 95% being evil, 4% neutral, and 1% good.

Chromatic dragons regularly ask for live sacrifice and plot from the shadows to achieve their goals.

Metallic dragons are considered good, with 95% being good, 4% Neutral, and 1% Evil.

Magic dragons are considered neutral, with 100% Being neutral. To put it in perspective, a magic dragon can kill an innocent man because he started at him the wrong way, and then help an old lady cross the street because she asked nicely. They don't understand the concept of good and evil. But they are more complex than that, influenced by their environment and upbringing.

This part will explain general ideas about chromatic dragons.

***

First, they are chromatic since they are known by color. But that doesn't mean people don't call their element. Generally, common folks would call them by color, mages by the element, and experts by names.

Let's take an example, Claug, the green dragon.

Commoners would refer to her as a green dragon. They merely state what they saw.

Mages would know better than commoners and call Claug a poison dragon.

Experts would know the dragon's name, or at least the famous name the dragon has. That is the metric used to judge an expert's knowledge. Some dragons wouldn't even bother speaking or looking at someone who doesn't know their true name.

Claug is a famous name. It isn't the dragon's full name. Using it informs the dragon that you know nothing about it. But some expert can use that to try and trick the dragon, which always fails since the dragon take it into account.

Generally when confronted by a chromatic dragon, calling their true name will cause them to stop attacking and listen out of respect and not a necessity.

The chromatic dragons known are as follows:

Red dragons. Fire dragons.

Blue dragons. Lightning dragons.

Green dragons. Poison dragons.

Black dragons. Acid dragons.

White dragons. Cold dragons.

Yellow dragons. Salt dragons.

Orange dragons. Sodium dragons.

Pink dragons. Soap dragons.

Purple dragons. Plasma dragons.

Transparent dragons. Force dragons.

Grey dragons. Fang dragons.

Brown dragons. Earth dragons.

Cyan dragons: Water dragons.

Metallic dragons are good-natured creatures, but they often find themselves taking things too far. To most of them, except silver dragons, evil is a sin punished by death.

The metallic dragons can be identified by their metallic scales. From them, we can find multiple types.

Gold dragons. Hard-headed, law-abiding, evil-killing dragons.

Silver dragons. Those dragons are known as librarians, and they are obsessed with humans.

Copper dragons. They are jesters, and prankesters.

Brass dragons. The brads of dragon kinds reveling in stories.

Bronze dragons. Inquisitive dragons.

Mercury dragons. Mercury dragons were whimsical, impulsive creatures

Iron dragons. Iron dragons were powerful, dangerous predators

Steel dragons. Steel dragons were sociable, clever, and curious, and they preferred the company of humanoids rather than dragons

Platinum dragons. The rarest, largest, and most powerful of the metallic dragons, they represented the epitome of the metallic dragons.
