Author's POV
"Pst! Pst! Pst!"
The endless sound kept bugging lan late in the night as he tries to fall asleep after an annoying day.
He climbed off his bed and walked towards his window looking outside in the cold night.
He looked up at the tall tree outside his window, his eyes questioning it.
"Down here" A hushed voice whispered.
He tinted his eyes trying to make out the form of the person when the person moved closer to his line of sight.
"You! What are you doing here and at this late hour?"Lan questioned looking surprised. He hasn't seen him since that day he jumped out of his window.
Honestly, he wasn't expecting to see him again, so what was he doing here?
"Just move aside so I can jump in" Damon whispered, his eyes roaming endlessly in the dark.
Lan raised a brow at him and crossed his arm refusing to move.
"If you think, I am going to let a stranger into my room by this time of the night, then you have got the wrong person" He replied.
Damon ran his hand through his hair searching the dark.
"I thought we were way passed that strangers part after we spent the night together?" Damon asked not minding how vulgar his words sound.
Lan's ears became red and his cheeks flushed. He cleared his throat thankful that it was dark.
"We didn't spend the night together, you passed out on my bed! Get your facts right next time" he replied.
Damon was already feeling anxious, he kept looking around hoping he wasn't being followed.
"Fine you are right. Please let me in" he pleaded.
Lan stared at him in thought before he moved aside giving him space to climb up the tree branch and jump into his room.
Immediately he got in, he quickly locked the window not before his eyes searched the entry place.
Once he stepped closer to the light, lan could see his frame.
He looked.... haggard.
"What happened to you?" he asked surprised.
Damon didn't reply and just moved towards the bedstand where he drowned the water in the jug and sat on the bed breathing hard.
"It felt amazing. I haven't had such refreshing water in days," he spoke sighing in satisfaction.
"I don't understand. What are you doing here? What do you mean by you have not had such refreshing water in days? and why do you look so untamed?" Lan asked as he scrutinized him.
Damon ignored his questions as he glanced around the room nodding his head.
"Nice room! Finally got your own huh?" he asked.
"Yes and--"lan trailed off as he picked up something from his statement.
"How did you know that this was my room? Why didn't go to the previous window you jumped out from?"Lan stared at him suspiciously.
Damon waved him off as he pulled his shirt off
"No need to look at me like that. I am smart, I just figured it out" he shrugged taking off his boots as well.
Lan nodded slowly not buying his words. His face was etched with a frown as he saw the mess he created in his room with his dirty boots.
Damon took off his muddy jeans and flung them in a corner of the room slowly relaxing down on the bed.
"You know you can't stay here right? You have got to go"Lan said as he stared at the clothes, his eyes burning lasers through them.
"Yes I can and your mom's not around so I'm free to come and go as I please" Damon replied in a satisfied tone as he shut his eyes with a small smile on his face.
Lan glared at the figure lying on his bed. Right now he does not find him attractive at all but a nuisance and annoying, just like someone he knows.
Nate!
"How did you know my mom's not around? Have you been stalking me?"Lan's eyes widened at the realization that he might be a creep or a pervert stalking him.
Damon's eyes shot open surprised" what? Of cause not!"
"Then how did you know?"lan asked annoyed.
"As I said earlier I am smart" Damon replied with a smile.
"Go to sleep lan, I am tired" Damon replied turning off the lamp.
Lan glared at his sleeping form on the bed as he walked over and picked up a pillow walking towards the couch where he lay down despite how uncomfortable he felt.
"Goodnight," Damon said as he purred and relaxed on the comfortable bed.
Lan awkwardly tried making himself comfortable and forcefully shut his eyes forcing himself to sleep.

Morning came and lan could feel someone tap him. He shrugged the hand off annoyed that he was being disturbed when the hand suddenly pushed him off the couch making him land on the floor.
His eyes shut open as he grimaced in pain.
He stood up annoyed.
"That got you up" Nate smiled smudgily.
"What the hell Nate! What did you do that for?"lan asked pissed off.
"Oh... I'm so proud. Momma's baby learned his first bad word"Nate cooed as he pinched Lan's cheeks.
Lan swatted his hand away annoyed.
"Get ready princess, it's already late. It's 8 already" Nate said.
"Since when did you become a mom? And it's Saturday for christ's sake!"Lan exclaimed feeling wronged.
"Might be but we need to prepare early, we are going out"Nate replied walking towards the door.
"Wait... Woah! Out? Where and why wasn't I informed and since when do we go out?" Lan asked as he pointed at the two of them with disbelief.
"Well you have just been informed and it's not just the two of us but my friends included. You can bring your bodyguard if you want. Oh, and pack a few clothes will ya" With that said, Nate pulled the doorknob and stepped out.
Lan stood there confused and enraged.
Did Nate perhaps hit his head somewhere? Or was there an alien invasion he wasn't aware of?
Speaking of an alien invasion...
His eyes connected with his bed surprised to find it empty.
He looked around confused as he searched for the clothes but they were gone.
There was no sign of someone else being present in the room.
He walked towards the bathroom pulling the door open but it was empty as well.
So...he just up and left?
He stared in disbelief.
"What an asshole" he mumbled under his breath.
After getting ready for the day, he went downstairs to the kitchen and halted in surprise.
He wiped his eyes over and over again trying to see if the image would change but it didn't.
Standing close to the gas wearing an apron and frying pancakes was his brother.
He slowly walked into the kitchen not letting his guard down as he observed him suspiciously.
Nate looked behind him and found his little brother staring at him strangely. He knows how the sight looks to him. Even he can't believe he is doing this.
"Stop staring at me like that and come help me with the plates will ya," he asked rolling his eyes at his brother.
Lan helped him as they arranged the pancakes on the dinner table with drinks. Milk for lan and orange juice for Nate.
Lan sat down as he glared at the milk and back at his brother.
"You know mom's not here right? You can at least give me some juice" he pleaded.
"Nope! Milk for you every morning, mom's orders"Nate replied not ready to listen to his request.
Lan dropped his fork as it clanked hard on the table.
"What the hell is this? since when did you become the good son and amazing brother?" he asked hating Nate's sudden change of behavior.
Nate sighed dropping his fork as he heard how angry he was. Only he knows why he is suddenly acting like this. It's not as if he enjoys being nice, especially to him. His body has been opposed to his every action but after what he discovered this morning, he has no choice be to do this for his brother, he felt bad for him.
"Just eat and don't make a fuss" he replied as he continued his meal.
Lan glared at him hard but quietly obliged continuing his meal.
After breakfast, he went to his room and packed a few of his clothes into his backpack.
Despite his not being happy with the new plans, he knows he has to flow with them.
It's been five minutes since he finished packing and all he has been doing is glaring at the phone in his hands.
They haven't spoken for three days and now, he wasn't sure how he was supposed to invite her on a trip, most especially one he knows nothing about.
He took in a deep breath willing himself to call.
He dialed her number waiting patiently for it to connect.
"Hey, Lan....."The person over the phone spoke softly.
Lan didn't reply. He didn't know what to say. He knows he is being petty but he hasn't gotten over the fact that she ditched him for a grandma that she hasn't seen in two f*cking years. If she wanted to go out with Ray she would have just said so then promised and then bail on him.
She might not have thought it through when she lied to him using that but he always knew.
There was silence on the other side of the phone.
"I'm sorry lan.." the voice spoke again.
"I'm sorry I bailed on you, most especially with such a horrible lie I'm sure you caught me on," she said
Lan chuckled softly as his eyes became teary. He just couldn't be mad at her for long even though he wants to. When she just says sorry, he ends up forgiving her.
"I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have made it a big deal" he replied feeling remorseful himself.
The voice chuckled "well you're a drama queen so..kinda expected"
Lan laughed feeling amused "I'm glad things are alright between us now. I felt horrible and lonely without you," he said.
"Me too" she replied.
"Wanna go on a trip with me, Nate, and the boys?" he asked out of the blue.
"Woah? You and Nate?"Pearl's voice rang out through the phone in surprise.
"I was surprised as well. Can't explain what happened or why or where the hell we are going. All I know is we are going on a trip" Lan replied.
"Woah that's big news. Okay be there in a few" she replied as lan disconnected the call and picked up his bag and walked downstairs.
