WAIT, WHEN DID SHE GET IN HERE?!

I wasn't entirely awake when the sun's rays showed through my windows and peeked through my bed's curtains, and I didn't feel like opening my eyes, so I pretended I was asleep.

"Darien, you awake?" A voice asked.

**Who the hell is bothering me right now?** I groaned in my head. **Can't they see I don't want to move?**

The voice giggled and brushed the hair out of my face.

"Get up, dork; you have things to do today. Plus, Samuel will be here soon." The voice said, sounding like they were smirking.

I grumbled at them and turned my head to hide my face in my pillow.

"He can wait. I'm busy." I grumbled.

"Busy doing what?" They asked.

I half shrugged.

"Being lazy and sleeping, duh," I said sarcastically.

The voice chuckled.

"Darien, if you don't get up, I'm going to make you~." The voice said, seeming like they were getting closer to me.

I ignored them while falling into a deep sleep once again.

That's when I felt it, and it made me shoot straight out of bed and fall onto the floor, getting caught in the bed's curtains.

Someone had nibbled the tip of my right pointed ear. The person didn't do it hard, but it was enough to let me feel their teeth and a bit of their soft tongue.

It freaked the shit out of me when they did that, and it sent energy throughout my whole nervous system.

As I was trying to figure out what the hell just happened and trying to figure out where I even was, I heard the voice of someone laughing their ass off on my bed behind the curtains.

"You awake now, dork?" The voice giggled, poking out their face from the curtains.

It was Aurona. Aurona Viora was poking her head out from the inside of my bed curtains with a victory smile on her face IN MY ROOM.

"WHY THE HELL ARE YOU IN HERE?!?!" I shouted at her while holding my ear, and a blush painted over my cheeks.

She shrugs and hops out of the curtains and into view, making my jaw drop.

Her appearance was different, and she was no longer human looking.

Her hair was a bit longer and mixed with violets, purples, and blues, like a cosmic wave. Her eyes were more dragonic shaped but still held that same strong will in them and were now multi-colored of reds, oranges, and pinks. Her skin was now a goldish tint with scales patterned here and there, mainly on the places that would bend a lot, like the sides of her neck, elbows, and knees. Her ears looked more like mine but shaped like a deer's than a demon's. She had tall long, gold, deer-like dragon antlers on her head that pointed high to the sky; the tips on each point of her horns seemed to have different colors of tiny bright orbs of light blinking around them like fireflies. She even had golden wings and a tail! Her tail was a long slim reptilian dragon tail with spikes lined down the upper side, and her wings were HUGE with what looked like different colored glowing gems embedded in them.

She looked like a completely different person. But somehow, I knew it was her. Like I have known her all my life.

...

Which is why I was more was probably so calm right now...

**Come to think of it, she's even in her pajamas. Even 'that' doesn't even strike me as odd...WAIT A FUCKING SECOND!!!** I thought before something clicked.

"DID YOU SLEEP HERE LAST NIGHT?!" I yelled at Aurona while she stretched like this situation was no big deal to her.

"Had to, unfortunately. Thanks to a certain someone, their mother now thinks he's mad at me and is forcing me to sleep with her every night." Aurona snorts and looks at me in an annoyed matter.

I sit up, crossing my legs with my arms shoved in my lap while turning my head to the side, pouting like a kid.

"Yeah, well, what did you want me to do, huh? My mother isn't the easiest person the deal with, even for my father most days." I say with a huff.

Aurona chuckled and walked up to my holding out her hand.

"It's all good; I kinda expected it already. It is your mother we're talking about." Aurona says.

I chuckle and grab her hand, pulling myself off the ground.

"So what are we doing today?" I ask Aurona.

She pauses for a bit, then walks off towards the windows; the sunlight outlines her figure when she stops.

"I heard what happened last night from your father," she starts saying, not turning around to face me. "It appears your body is starting to know your strength faster than 'you' can realize you have it."

I cock my head to the side.

"What's that supposed the mean? That I'm more powerful than I think I am?" I ask.

Aurona doesn't answer, but after a long silence, I remember something from a while ago...something I completely forgot.

***3. Would you be: Not powerful as those around you? As powerful as those around you? Or more powerful than those around you?***

It was one of the questions my gaming system asked me back in my 'old world' before being reincarnated into 'this world.'

And I had chosen: 'More powerful than those around you.'

"Oh fuck..." I muttered, my hands sweating slightly.

Aurona turned her body slightly and looked over one shoulder.

"Now, do you get the situation? And understand why I'm here and Samuel is coming over?" She asked, getting straight to the point.

I nod slowly and look down at my hands. My lips twitched a bit like I was trying to hold back something.

"Darien? Why don't I like that look?" Aurona asked, raising an eyebrow but with caution in her eyes.

I looked at her and finally let go of the chaotic grin I was holding in, making Aurona stiffen and her eyes widen.

"Just a bad habit of mine, sorry, I just can't wait to start training," I say with my grin getting larger.

Yeah, it's a bad habit of mine from my 'old world.'

I'm a bit of a battle junkie.
