From how his eyes glistened, Lina could tell he'd do it. He'd stare at her just the way he was doing right now.
There was a bold air of seduction about him, and Lina was sure he was aware he possessed it.
She weighed her options in her head. Receive his handkerchief and clean herself, or do it in front of him and have him watch her, or walk away and let her juices drip down her leg because she could feel it.
"Can I have my..." She paused when she realized she couldn't even say it out.
And again, as if knowing what she wanted to ask, he smiled. "That's mine now." He said, and Lina creased her brows.
His hand around her waist tightened, and she jerked. "Stay still. I'll be quick, and I won't look if that's what scares you." He whispered, his hand already wiping across her thigh with his handkerchief. His voice was mocking, and Lina knew he was taunting her.
Lina felt a gush of embarrassment sweep through her, and she was sure if the place weren't dark, he'd see how red she was at the moment.
"There you go." He brought her down from the balustrade she had been sitting on and placed her on her feet.
Lina watched him as he brought out the handkerchief tucked in the front pocket of his suit jacket. He wiped his hand and wrapped the other he had used on her in it.
"I'll discard it for us." He said, and even though Lina wanted to object and demand he passed it over, she stopped herself. The only thing she wanted that same moment was to put some distance between them.
"My panties, can I have it now?" She asked again, but he slowly shook his head as his eyes held hers.
"I said they are mine now. You can call us 'even.' You stole a kiss, remember?" He angled a brow at her.
Lina snapped her head towards the balcony entrance when she heard noises from there. She glanced back at him, and she wasn't surprised to see him staring so intimately at her, just like he had been doing all night.
His gaze made her feel like he knew each word and thought going through her mind, and she was beginning to hate it. His eyes make her conscious and.... vulnerable.
"Keep it if it'll make you happy."
"And, of course, it will." He smugly replied.
Lina paid him one last look and looked towards the door before starting for it. She had no more words to say, and she hoped they don't see each other again. Ever!
She heard him chuckle as she walked past him, careful enough not to brush her body against him. Pete knew she was running, and again, he found that amusing.
Pete turned after her. "So you won't tell me your name?" He asked after her. He was curious to know her name.
"There's no need." She tersely replied as she hurried through the door while he watched her leave.
Lina wished she could disappear from his sight and the resort that very moment. How had she done something like that, and with a stranger?
Not that she'd do it with someone familiar. She wouldn't even do it at all! So what had come over her?!
"Hey, Lina!" Someone called across the hallway, and Lina cussed under her breath. She wasn't far away from the balcony, and she'd like to be miles away from it before he stepped out. What awful timing whoever was calling her had.
And who could it be? No one knew there except for Sharon.
She curiously turned around to see the Emcee from the bachelorette party striding toward her.
"It's Lina, right?" The girl asked as she stopped in front of Lina.
"Yes," Lina answered, her eyes making a quick dart toward the balcony entrance.
"I knew I had the name right." The girl proudly smiled, but Lina wasn't as excited as her. She looked over again, and her heart skipped when he stepped out of the balcony into the fully lighted hallway.
He looked at both sides till his eyes stopped on her. His lips curved up again.
Lina darted her eyes away and looked at the girl, who was rambling out some words she could barely hear.
"I went to your suite, but I couldn't find either you or Sharon. I wanted to hand you the souvenirs from the party last night as I'll be leaving in the morning. I don't want to take them with me. So here you go." The girl said, handing two gift bags over to her.
Lina surreptitiously observed him as he walked closer, and she hastily received the bags.
"Thank you." She said, feeling grateful the girl wasn't catching onto her anxiety or looking behind her.
"No, thank you for coming. You all made last night interesting, especially you." She said with a wink before letting out a giggle.
Lina almost felt like shoving a hand inside her mouth before she said anymore as he was now barely a foot away.
The girl pulled Lina in for a quick hug before prancing away on her heels. Lina was about to follow suit when his voice came behind her, causing her to flinch, and she clumsily let go of one of the bags.
She looked down to pick it up, but she suddenly paused when she saw the bag's content. Her eyes widened in horror as she looked at it.
A Dildo?
Lina felt faint with shame. She was too stricken even to pick it up as she was sure he was also staring at it. What luck she has.
Her senses reeled back when she saw a large frame squatting in front of her and picking it up.
He stared at it with amusement as he slowly rose to his feet."Interesting," he muttered, and Lina flushed with even more embarrassment.
"I believe this is yours." He said, handing it over, and Lina turned red on the spot. She looked into his eyes, and she saw the amusement silently thriving in them.
What could be more mortifying than this?
Lina didn't have to guess what he was thinking because she could already tell, and it would be stupid even to say anything in her defense. After all, he had witnessed it being handed over to her. And who cares what he thought anyway?
She snatched it away from his hand. "Yes." She sharply replied and tucked it inside the bag before anyone else would see it.
"I hope you use it well." He said. "And just so you know, I won't forget you in a hurry, Lina."
