"Hey baby, miss me?" Gina's sing-song voice came through the phone.
Pete scowled at the sound of her voice. "What do you want?" He coldly asked.
"Honey, what sort of question is that? I miss you, don't you miss me? I know you do." A soft, confident chuckle rolled off her lips, and Pete frowned even more.
When was the last time she said something like that to him? He couldn't even remember.
"Gina, I'm not going to ask again. What do you want?" He asked with an even sterner tone, and this time, Gina's voice lost all the sultriness.
"What do you mean by what do I want? You're my boyfriend, and I'm calling my boyfriend."
Calling her boyfriend. Pete scoffed.
Wasn't she calling now because Mya had undoubtedly informed her about seeing him with another woman?
She could talk to Mya, but not to him? Pete felt livid even more. But not at her, instead at himself.
