Be careful

Alexa could barely sleep through the night. Her body was a mixture of excitement and anxiety. But she was more excited than nervous, or maybe more nervous than excited. She wasn't sure.

She had tossed and turned and, at a few times, blushed.

Christopher made her blush. The fluttering effect of his kisses and the heat he had left still lingered and coursed about her, stirring up a different kind of heat in her — one she wanted to be put off by him.

The feeling was inexplicably indescribable.

Her heartbeat was frantic and erratic, so much she couldn't keep it still.

She was going to a condo with Christopher, and she'd be alone with him. How disbelieving did that sound?

She'd have him to herself and her to himself. And there'd be no one else.

The latter part of her words sounded double-edged, but Alexa was certain of what she meant. It would just be Christopher and her alone in his condo.

Having sex.
