His Fiancee

Lina had no idea why Mya would be at her shop, or maybe she did, but she didn't want to believe it.

She had not imagined she'd walk right through the door after their brief encounter by happenstance a few minutes ago. But this was Mya Reeds — a high school bully and societal racist.

"Lina," Philipa called, once again startling her out of her thought.

Lina's eyes darted to the door and then to Philipa.

"What did she want?" She inquired.

"I don't think she's interested in buying anything. She just asked to see you."

To see her? Lina's brow quirked.

"Do you think she's here to cause trouble?" Philipa asked, her voice holding a tinge of concern.

Oh, she was definitely there to cause trouble, and Lina knew this for a fact.
