Chapter 5

The next day Norman signed in another 50 Fourth-Class Disciples, sending them to the Handyman area.

''Franklin, you will follow me this time. Our goal is to select some disciples and see how the world has developed.''

''Yes Sect Master.''

At the base of the mountain, there were two giant pillars engraved with countless ruins and formations.

This was the entrance to the sect and the location of the Guardian Formation.

Previously it could block a blow from a Powerful Creator Realm Cultivator. But after countless Millennia it has degraded into only a disguise formation.

A faint cloud of mist covered the entire sect mountain separating it from the world.

''According to my memory the sect is located in a deep valley. Although it is only a valley it's size is already comparable to Earth! There are billions of residents and it used to be a place that sects flourished.''

''However compared to the whole Realm it is just a small pocket. The Original Owners body told him the ancestor settled here to be a large fish in a small pond.''

Norman sighed. He was amazed by the scale of this realm. Just a small pocket had billions of people!

''But this just means more disciples for me. The old Immortal Sects used to have countless check points across the land with the sole purpose of collecting disciples.''

''Set myself a small goal, occupy this valley as my own.''

[Ding]

[Released Mission: Occupy the Broken Valley

Successfully claim the entire Broken Valley as your own territory.

3% Occupied

Reward: 1,000 Sign in Opportunities]

''1,000 Sign in opportunities!''

Norman was slightly surprised. Although he gets one sign in opportunity a day, suddenly earning 1,000 Chances is definitely a large win!

''Haha it seems like I need to focus on taking control of the Broken Valley. If possible get my disciples to cultivate quite quickly, that's equivalent to 3 years of signing in!''

Norman's breathing was a little heavy. But of course he understood it wouldn't be easy to occupy such a large land. Even when the Sect was at its peak it was unable to do so.

Of course that was when there were countless Cultivators running around and other sects rivalling them.

''Let's go!''

Norman walked over to a large circular formation on the ground, the Teleportation Formation he signed in.

Him and Franklin stood on the platform, and a map appeared in Norman's mind. It only showed a few key locations but that was enough.

''Here… Northridge. If I remember correctly there used to be a branch of the Sect here.''

Norman glanced at the map and chose a small set of hills. Instantly a light lit up around him creating a dome like space.

With a powerful sense of pressure around his body Norman felt himself disappear, before the scenery in front of his eyes changed.

He reappeared on a small hill with dozens of trees around him. At the same time a small crystal appeared in his hand. The only way to return to the Sect without walking.

''Tsk, after so many years it's a surprise the main branch of the Sect could survive. It's no wonder the branch sect has disappeared.''

Norman looked around the hilly area.

''Sect Leader, there is a small town over there!''

Suddenly Franklin's voice came from behind him. And sure enough in the distance on one of the largest hills there was a small wooden wall.

''Has the world degraded this far?''

Norman was instantly stunned. His spiritual sense covered the town in an instant. 3,000 Residents all mortal without strength to touch a cultivator.

He thought there would be at least a few people, reaching close to the realm of Cultivation but without a spiritual aura unable to step forward.

But he was sorely mistaken. Without the blessing of Spiritual Energy on their bodies from birth the strength of mortals has weakened from generation to generation.

''Let's go.''

Norman didn't intend to waste time walking around the town. He was busy after all, instead he wanted to control it.

''Franklin go and get the town head for me.''

''Yes Sect Master!''

Franklin bowed and flew off the ground, with a flash he reappeared above the small town.

''What is that! Look someones flying!''

''Oh my god!''

''Is this a punishment sent by god?''

The village people below were stunned. Their eyes widened but before they could react a strong pressure burst down on them.

Their legs ached and groaned as they gave way falling to their knees.

Franklin just glanced at them before waving his hand. A large palm print appeared in the sky dozens of metres long.

Under the intense pressure the Town Heads building was smashed down and a fat chubby man was grabbed out.

Seeing Franklin disappear with the Town Head the rest of the Villagers were stunned. Unable to react for a moment.

''Sect Leader I have gotten him.''

Seeing Franklin Reappear with a fat man beside him Norman looked over curiously.

[Runie (June Empire)

Cultivation: Mortal

Talent: None

Identity: Town Head of Northridge Town

Cultivation Technique: None

Martial Skills: None]

''Bah even the talent has decreased by more than one level.''

Norman just took a glance and was dissatisfied. When the Immortal World was rampant, Fifth-Class Talents were like grass, Fourth-Class Talents were as common as cattle and Third-Class Talents could be picked up in annual tests!

But for a town head to have no Talent? Pathetic.

''Boring. Find out where the capital of this so called Empire is, we will head there next.''

Norman didn't continue to waste time. His aura had already scanned the entire town, only to be disappointed.

Out of the 3,000 people the best only had Fifth-Class Talent! There was only one of them in the whole town.

Not even worth his effort to Cultivate.
