Chapter 26

Sprawled across the base of the mountain there were countless small villages. However they all have the same Grean Surname.

Across the many villages, there are shouts and cries as people fought each other on martial arts platforms.

In another area, hundreds of children were standing in horse stance as their muscles twisted and sweat poured down.

The Grean Family is a Martial Arts Family. It is rumoured they were once a Cultivation Family, but after years they have begun practising their bodies.

''Patriarch, it appears Spiritual Energy is slowly recovering. Our Generals in the Wu Dynasty have been ordered to round up children in the surroundings cities for the empire.''

''Moreover the Tang and Slice Empires refused to cooperate with a local sect and have since been destroyed. A young man appeared in the sky and destroyed the imperial city with one palm.''

Dozens of old men sat in a circle in a hall all discussing the events of the world.

However a sense of excitement permeated around the room.

''Haha! Perfect! Our children are all physically fit, if you add cultivation talent onto it our rise is unstoppable.''

''Order the descendants outside to begin testing the children from the side branches. Also mobilise all the power we have to find out about local sects. If we can sending disciples to a sect in trade for protection is a winning deal.''

The Elders of the family were shrewd. As a millenia old family there are countless descendants, and as a martial family they occupy many military positions in other empires.

Their influence is undeniably huge! But none of that can compare to the idea of becoming a Cultivator.

Much like the Grean Family and the Shura Empire, forces across the continent were sprouting up like weeds.

Even some ordinary people found Inheritances hoping to reach the sky in one step. Unfortunately the world's poor level of talent was a massive limiting factor, 99% of the population didn't even have Fifth-Class Talents.

Norman was unaware of the changes going on outside the Broken Valley. Instead he stayed in a retreat for a month.

''Sure enough a month isn't enough for me to break through without resources. But the disciples have advanced quite a bit.''

The first thing that Norman did was open his system Panel for the disciples in the sect.

[Katy (Sanctuary Immortal Sect)

Cultivation: Eighth Realm Qi Refining

[Jacob (Sanctuary Immortal Sect)

''Ninth Realm Qi Refining. It seems like he should be preparing to build his foundation soon. And Katy isn't too far behind. The strengths of her beasts make one of the top competitors in her realm.''

[Ding]

[Detected that the Host has 30 Sign In Opportunities. Do you wish to use them?]

''Yes! Sign in!''

The moment Norman waited for was here. Excitedly, he used the sign-ins.

[Congratulations to the Host for signing in 30 times and getting: 2 Years of Cultivation, 2 Deacons, 330 Third-Class Disciples, 1,000 Fourth-Class disciples, 4,000 Fifth Class Disciples, 1x Spiritual Armour (Common)...]

[Ding]

[Congratulations to the Host for using 30 Sign in's at once and getting: 50 Training Puppets.]

''Huh Training Puppets?''

Norman glanced at the rewards with an incredible sense of satisfaction. He intended to save the first year of cultivation for his breakthrough later. But now he realised he can earn more!

But his main focus was on the extra reward.

[Training Puppets (x50): Training Puppets have the physical strength comparable to a Crossing Realm Cultivator. Their strength varies depending on their opponent making them an extremely suitable combat trainer. They will shut down when faced by anyone not registered in the Disciple Registry.]

''Interesting it solves one of the sects biggest issues!''

Norman read the description and smiled. Currently his disciples can only compete against each other to improve. But there's a limit after all. Jacob struggles to find opponents to improve against.

But now the combat experience won't lose to their cultivation.

''The number of disciples is also improving. According to Deacon Franklin there have been less than 40 new disciples in the sect… 39 of them with Fifth-Class Talent and only 1 Fourth-Class Handyman.''

Opening up the Mission Progress, Norman finally felt like he understood the issues the other sect masters were facing.

[Released Mission: Occupy the Broken Valley

Successfully claim the entire Broken Valley as your own territory.

95% Occupied

Reward: 1,000 Sign in Opportunities]

''95% has been occupied but 50 Disciples have been found so far!''

''Hopefully some more Handymen can break through and increase the locating speed.''

Norman wasn't surprised by the progress. Occupying a Mortal world is too easy for hundreds of Cultivators.

''But finally 5%. It is likely that it is Leopold's territory. Or other issues have come up.''

Norman wasn't massively aware of what was going on. Only occasionally would the Deacons drop some information down to Norman, or he would check his panel and see the increases.

''Finally Spiritual Armour as well?''

Norman finally turned to the new reward. With a wave of his hand, a long red robe appeared on his body.

As soon as it appeared, a faint shield spread across his skin as energy infused into his body. He felt his defence instantly increase several levels!

[Red Violet Robe (Common):Able to resist an attack from a Foundation Peak Cultivator and absorb the aura from the surroundings in order to recover the shield. Has the effect of increasing physical defence by 20%.]

''Haha, not bad! My safety is ensured now.''

Norman took note of the rewards for this month. The first thing he did was summon out the Disciples and the new Deacons, sending them off to their respective locations.

The fifth-Class Disciples went to the Various Checkpoints.

Norman now had over 5,000 Fifth-Class Disciples, most of which were sent to the checkpoints outside the sect.

The Sect currently has 4 Checkpoints each with 1,000 disciples after Norman sent off the new ones.

Over watching each checkpoint there are 30 Fourth-Class Handymen and 5 Third-Class Disciples all of which are cultivators.
