''Hoo it's really the best time to get rich. 120 Cultivation Techniques and Martial Skills are already enough to create a small force!''
Norman floated back to the Sect, sending the Cultivation Techniques to the Cultivation Pagoda and putting the treasures away in the treasury.
''If I awoke later than the start of Spiritual Energy Resurrection it is likely that a majority of these treasures would've disappeared under my eyes.''
However Norman now Norman and the sect were gaining plentiful treasures from the Inheritances appearing.
Beside a large mountain range, a dozen people dressed in white robes rushed through the field.
''Senior Brother Crune are you sure it's this way?''
''Yes, hurry up! We want to find the treasure before the Sect Leader distributes the reward he promised.''
''Ok Senior Brother!''
Hearing the boy's voice at the front, the other 11 disciples picked up the pace. They were all young, but the aura from their bodies scared away any nearby beasts.
All 12 were disciples of the Immortal Sanctuary Sect.
''We are here!''
Suddenly the boy at the front stopped. The small compass in his hand pointed at a colossal boulder blocking what looked like a cave entrance.
''This should be it. Junior Brother Aaron I might need your help to move this boulder.''
''Yes, Senior Brother.''
Two of the leading male figures stepped forward. Instantly their aura burst out. Senior Brother Crune was in the Fourth Realm of Qi Refining while Aaron was only in the Third Realm of Qi Refining.
''Lift!''
The other 10 disciples also helped going on every side.
Crune's arms bulged up lifting the giant boulder. At the same time from every disciple a different Cultivation Technique burst out.
Some simple water manipulation and some body tempering techniques. Slowly the giant boulder began to lift.
'Bang!'
With a loud thump the boulder was thrown aside.
''What is this made out of! Normally it shouldn't be so difficult for a group of Qi refiners to move a rock right?''
Crune looked at the boulder curiously.
''Well we can't move it, report it to the Deacons when we return. Maybe it's made out of something special and valuable!''
''For now let's go.''
Crune led the way. A faint flame appeared on his palm lighting up the empty cave entrance.
But as the group moved forward a thin figure appeared from the mountains behind them.
''This is the Inheritance mentioned in my Ancestors recordings? Those disciples must belong to the same group that wiped out the Empire! Hehe with my ancestors strength it shouldn't be hard to beat them.''
Crune and the other disciples continued down the cave. All of them were on guard pulling their steel swords from their waists.
''Senior Brother, this seems to be a tomb. But it is quite large! The Deacons warned that there are often traps inside of Tombs like this.''
A young girl beside Crune frowned as she walked forward. Despite only being in the Second Realm of Qi Refining, Crune didn't show a negligent look compared to when he was talking to his Junior Brothers.
Instead a flattering smile appeared on his face.
''Junior Sister Tulia, you don't have to worry. With me at the front there isn't anything that can harm you.''
Tulia smiled hearing it. She had a good impression of Crune, his status matched hers both of them disciples of Deacons.
She often heard her master mention about the duo becoming Partners.
''Alright Senior Brother! Be careful though''
Slowly the group continued down the large empty cave. However, what was strange was that the environment didn't change.
There were no traps, no deadly beasts, nothing!
''Wait. This isn't right!''
''We have passed this same crack in the wall five times already. How haven't we noticed it.''
Just then one of the children at the back of the group noticed a greyish hole in the side of the wall immediately pointing it out.
The rest of the disciples rushed forward surrounding it.
Crunes' eyes suddenly turned worried.
''Crap, it's an illusion!''
Looking around everything seemed to fit into place. The endless caves, the unchanging atmosphere and the deadly silence.
Crune stared closely at the crack in the wall. His face turning pale as energy surged into his blade, his energy was activated to the maximum as a sharp blade rushed out tearing apart the air.
As the blade light hit the wall the stones were torn apart revealing a large metal plate. Endless ruins were carved on the plate, but most of them weren't lit up.
The sword seemed to draw away their last energy as the light cut.
''Senior Brother!''
''What the hell?''
Instantly the air twisted revealing a hideous scene.
Countless bones and skeletons were scattered on the ground! Ash and dust were spread around as broken bones disintegrate with time.
But the bodies of those strong Cultivators don't decay easily.
The ground was stained red as rusted metals and armour were spread over a massive cave hundreds of metres long.
''What is this place?''
Crune looked around curiously, his eyes finally settling on a red orb laying in the centre of the cave
It was covered in dense cracks and looked slightly inconspicuous.
However one of Crunes Junior Brothers curiously picked it up.
''Ahh! Brother help!''
