Suspicious!

Lina is in the cafeteria and she keeps looking for Romeo all over the place. In vain, she wasn't able to find him. "Stupid Brainstorm!", She mumbles while finally deciding to take a plate and get herself lunch. After some minutes, someone comes from behind and touches her shoulder gently. The girl is still feeling a bit annoyed since she doesn't know where that "Brainstorm" is. So, she yells right away and says: "Where have you been all this time?", When she turns around, she switches to that tomato red right away, since she finds that Nadine, wearing quite an expression as if she's saying "Why did you scream like that?", was the one who touched her and not Romeo.

"I thought that you are Romeo", Says Lina after feeling a bit sorry, "that's why I screamed like that! I'm sorry."

"No it's okay Lina", Says Nadine, "As for Romeo, there's no need to chase after him at lunchtime you know. He just keeps vanishing nobody can find him."

"Care to join us then?", Asks Nadine after taking a plate as well.

-Lina: "It depends! Are Alex and Maria with you as well?"

"I heard they're ditching class today", Answers Nadine with quite a melodic tone," I and Adam are going to have lunch with two students from the elite class. They are friendly so I'm pretty sure that they'll like a cutie like you!"

"It can't be helped, right?", It's settled then, and Lina joins this new group for lunch. At first, when she barges in with Nadine to the others, she was feeling a little off.

"Oh you don't who she is", Says Adam after standing up next to Lina, "Her name is Lina, she's a new student in our school!"

"Nice to meet you", Adds Lina after taking a seat. After that, Adam continues introducing the other pals, "The boy is called Edward. As for her, her name is Sara! Umm, where did Alex and Maria go?"

"They're on a....", Lina didn't finish her Lina and Nadine closes her mouth as she says cowardly," They're ditching class, that's all! Ah haha!"

Lina keeps looking awkwardly at the girl for a while. Can't blame her though, the blue ocean eyes and that healthy thick brown hair are quite a thing. Without forgetting that eternal red blush on her cheeks. After some glimpses of that beauty, it appears Lina remembered something. She starts pointing at the girl and then says," Oh I remember you! You're the top model in the fashion club. I remember seeing you on a poster or something!", Says Lina with her energetic spirit joining the show, "Girl you're really gorgeous in real life as well!"

"Th-Thank you very much!", Responds Sara while she's slowly starting to get a bit embarrassed.

"Then here I am", Says Lina, "joining just a literature club."

-Adam: "Speaking of clubs. Lina, do you know which club did Romeo join?"

"Huh? I, don't know", Answers Lina while getting surprised by that sudden question, "Why are you asking me?"

"What do you mean?", Asks Nadine after sharing a small laugh, "You're always together you know! Your friendship with him is actually similar to the bond he shares with Alex you know!"

After hearing that, Lina notices that Sara starts looking at Lina in quite an unexpected way. The moment their eyes meet, Sara clumsily switches her interest to something else. "Well, that's weird!", mumbles Lina while eating her food. Then there's Edward, after hearing Romeo getting mentioned, he gets a little irritated and starts tapping at the table with his finger, "Romeo ha?", Says while keeping that weird act, "That's the dude who's topping the school, right?"

"Yup that's Romeo for ya!", Adds Lina after starting to feel proud all of a sudden, "You should've seen him in the physics class today, he was able to..."

"To notice that there was a mistake in the exercise, right?", Interrupts Edward, "It's not such a big deal, is it?"

That hits differently on Lina though, "What do you mean, not a big deal? I'm a hell of an idiot when it comes to physics and my deskmate outsmarts the one who creates those exercises. That's not catchy? Or wait a minute...", After that Lina keeps staring at Edward for a while and realizes how much it's bugging him. It appears that she realized the reason behind that, she switches to that teasing personality now, "Owww, don't tell me that you're jealous of our Romeo! I got you musclehead!!!"

"What?", Says Edward as he slowly starts to gain that bright red, "Why would get jealous!"

"Come to think of it, you always tell us that you want to beat Romeo for once", Adds Sara, "But it appears that you'll be staying in the second rank", Then she adds a lovely giggle after that.

"Oww so you are the second nerdiest student in the school", Says Lina without hesitation, " Why do I always end up meeting smart people like this?"

Since he's a bit quick-tempered, Edward actually was about to leave them be and get out of the cafeteria, if it wasn't for Adam that calmed him down a bit. After that, Adam goes to Lina right away.

"Apologize", Says the boy while tweaking her ear real hard, "Go on Lina!"

"Ow ow ow ow! Ow! OUCH!!!!", She keeps screaming for a while until he takes off his hand, "Alrighty, I want you to forgive me!"

"You don't even look sorry!", Answers Edward after getting a bit satisfied by what happened to hear.

The group keeps enjoying their meal with this crazy chat. Lina told them about the way she met Romeo that's for sure. They kept talking about his personality which appears to be quite off since he's always cold and looks like a loner. And for the whole time, Lina can't stop noticing the way Sara looks at her every now and then and that's what our girl kept thinking about the whole time.

"I got a message", That's what crossed Lina's mind after feeling the vibration of her phone, "It's from Alex?"

"Hello, Lily! I won't be coming to the library today so take care of my duties will ya? Oh, and tell Romi to take care of my bike, I tried contacting him but he didn't even read my message! I was going to ask Romi before you that's obvy. Thank you, you're the best!"

"Why do all my problems are caused by that stupid brainstorm!!!!!", Yells Lina while gritting her teeth!" After realizing that all of their pals' interests are on her now, she tries to play it as the calm lady right away. She stands up calmly and says, "I need to go to the library, see you later!"

She takes a few steps ahead while leaving them actionless like that. And then Sara raises her voice a little, "Ummmm... Lina?", Says the girl awkwardly, "Would it bother you if I tag along?"

Even though that question surprised her for sure, Lina didn't hesitate to answer her with quite a warm smile, "What are you saying? Feel free to join me!"

At first, they keep walking silently. Until Sara decides to ask Lina about Romeo and all.

"Romeo?", Says Lina, "What do you want to know about him?"

"I-I don't really know.", Sara can't stop showing off how she keeps acting, "I just feel like asking about it that's all!"

-Lina: "Well, what can I say? I can't stop noticing how deep his voice is, to be honest. That just keeps hitting on me every time I hear him, can you believe it?"

"His voice, is deep?", Then Sara stops talking and tries refreshing her memories to know what he sounded like. She only met him once so she didn't really get a clear idea about his voice. It didn't take that long for Lina to get back to her talking, "Romeo is really something if you ask me", She adds, "he's a cold stone stupid brainstorm and ends up being a meanie every time he acts around me. But, even though he's way too cold, he's really considerate and caring about others... Yeah, he's a good guy!"

"Huh? What am I saying all of a sudden?", That's the line that crossed Lina's mind right away. And that's when Sara starts getting all red out of nowhere as well. It's as if she's trying to get rid of something as if a strong confession is on the tip of her tongue, "You and Romeo aren't... Right?"

"Huh? Aren't what?", Asks Lina since she doesn't get a thing from what her new friend just said. Then there's Sara, gaining even more warming red, blushing like any rose, "there isn't you and him... Like YOU AND HIM!"

-Lina: "You and him?"

"Are you dating or something?", Questions Sara after her voice for a bit, "Since you're the closest girl to him, I thought that you might be dating and I... I just, I just wanted to know..."

That stupid look on Lina's face didn't last for long, since the girl started laughing right away, "Me dating that nerdy?", Says Lina while trying to control her laughter, "No way in hell, dismantle that idea from your head, Sara!"

"Oh, I see..", The way Sara said that was a bit unexpected, it was as if she felt relieved or something. "What's up with that expression of hers?", That's what's written on Lina's face right now, "Why did she get happy after knowing that we're not dating? Did something happen between those two? What's going on with Sara?"

"Why am I hooking up on her right now? What going on with me?"

Sara ends up helping Lina and taking care of the library as if she's a member of the literature club; organizing the chairs, returning the books to their shelves... When it's time for them to leave, Lina appears to be noticing someone in the library. Getting eaten by anger right away, she runs straight to his head real hard, "So you've been here all this time???", Screams Lina at his face.

"Shhhhhh", Says Romeo after taking off his headphones, "Keep it quiet, you're in a library, idiot."

"Oh, you're right!", Lina realizes how disrespectful she just sounded, "Why did I even apply to this literature thing if I can't keep it quiet?", And she finishes her line with a helpless sigh, " What were you doing all this time? Did you even have lunch?"

He raises his phone and shows her a certain game, "I was playing. As for the lunch, I ate tons of chocolate."

"Eating chocolate isn't even enough to fill a baby's stomach", Then she puts her hand over her head, "Come on let's go, we've got class and you need to take care of Alex's bike."

-Lina: "Come to think of it... You've been holding your phone all this time. Why didn't you answer your bestie? Because of you, I needed to work as twice as I needed to."

He raises his phone again and shows a certain symbol, "Ever heard of do not disturb? I'm sorry if you got tired because of me."

"At least try looking sor...", And all of sudden, Sara joins the two of them. She gets right behind Romeo and starts holding onto his uniform, "It's those two boys again!", She says after putting her head a little down to hide behind the boy. Just after that, those two boys drop by and meet Romeo a second time. But this time, it looks like they weren't trying to tease the girl or anything.

"No no no don't get it wrong", Says one of them while putting his hand gently on Romeo's shoulder, "We were only going to apologize but Sara kept running away that's why we chased her this time."

"Yeah, we won't bother you again! Sorry about last time Sara!"

Romeo turns his head a bit and tries to look at Sara. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to do so. As for her, the moment he lifted his head a bit and made that sharp jawline crystal clear, a butterfly in that chest of hers keeps making her gaze at him for eternity, as if what she just saw had a one in million chance to happen again," They said that they are sorry, Sara.", Says Romeo, waking up the dreamy girl by that voice.

"Oh! Oh, I'm sorry", She responds awkwardly, "It's not a big deal, I already forgave you guys!"

Since they didn't want such a face to stay mad at them, those boys put a sigh of relief after hearing what Sara said. And just when they were about to leave, one of them stops, "By the way, what's your name", He asks addressing Romeo.

-Romeo: "It's Romeo."

"ROMEO!!! The #1 of our school?", That's how one of them responded when he heard the name, "I thought you'll look more like a nerdy."

"Well, it appears that you've got it wrong.", Adds Romeo while keeping his eyes on them. After that they get going, "She got herself such a hottie, we can't compete to that. We're so done."

Then there's Lina that stayed actionless for the whole scene. Right now, thoughts are overflowing way too much over that mind of hers, "What did I just witness?", She starts questioning herself while giving quite an intense look to those two, "Those two boys again? An apology? We won't bother you again? They are so done? Why would they say that they are so done? Or that they can't compete to that?"

".... SHE GOT HERSELF SUCH A HOTTIE???"

"I don't really like the expression that you're wearing right now.", Says Romeo after noticing that big unwanted troublesome smile on Lina's face. Even though she's smiling, Romeo does realize that his friend is scorching on the inside, for some reason. She giggles warmly for some seconds, "Did something happen between you two?", Then she keeps giggling after that line.

"Well, remember when...", Romeo didn't hesitate to tell her the story, since Lina is considered one of his closest friends for now. But Sara, Sara is pretty hesitant if you as me, she grips intensely over his uniform until he turns his head a little, to find her wearing quite an expression as if she's saying "Keep it between us" or something like that, "Nothing happened", That's the way Romeo answered Lina. And without a doubt, that wasn't convincing at all, it's actually making Lina boil up in curiosity even more, "Holy moly something DID happen between these two!!!"

The three of them leave the library together and reach Sara's classroom first. They share a little goodbye then the other two get going. That's when Sara grips the strap of her backpack, "Romeo", Says the girl with a voice higher than usual, "I'll see you around, right?"

"Yeah", He answers while waving at her, "See you around."

"SOMETHING HAPPENED BETWEEN THESE TWO!!!", Lina starts pushing Romeo so they can get away from Sara. She can't hide it anymore she's dying to know what's going on, "Who's she?", Says the girl while poking him in an annoying way.

-Romeo: "She's Sara."

-Lina: "I know that much you stupid brainstorm!"

-Romeo: "You can't really put stupid and brainstorm together you know. It sounds stupid."

"Shut up, stupid!", Interrupts Lina", When did you meet her?"

"Maybe around 2 or 3 days ago?", Answers Romeo just before noticing Adam. He raises his hand and waves at his friend, "Adam, did you see Alex?"

"Oy, Romeo!", Yells Lina after realizing that the boy is trying to avoid her, "Get back here I'm talking to you! ROMEO!!!!"

The last session ends. Romeo takes the keys to Alex's bike which was hidden in a secret location that only Romeo and Alex know about. After that, Romeo, Adam and Lina go together to the parking to take the bike, "Do you know how to drive it though?", Asks Lina after finding the bike, "And do you have a license as well?"

Romeo keeps staring at the girl for a while, then he sits on the bike and says," Alex lets me drive it many times you know. And you don't need a license to ride a bike, you idiot."

"You know something? Sometimes I feel like I'm giving the vibe of someone way too stupid!", And she ends her line with a warm laugh.

"Sometimes?", Says Romeo after turning on the engine.

What made the scene a bit catchy, is the fact that Sara drop by out of nowhere. She stops running once she gets close enough to them and then the girl starts taking her breaths back, "Seeing her running to catch up to us is making it even more sussy", Lina starts thinking about those two right after seeing Sara, "Is it okay if we walk home together?", Says the girl after getting some rest!

"I'm sorry Sara", Says Romeo after putting on the helmet, "I'm afraid that I need to pass. Maybe I'll join you next time."

"No don't be sorry", She adds while taking some steps back, "See you next week then."

Even though she had the opportunity to walk home with Adam and Lina, Sara goes off right after knowing that Romeo can't join them. On her way back, even though she shared a conversation with Adam, Lina's mind keeps getting haunted by those two. She suddenly remembers the way Sara felt relieved after knowing that Lina and Romeo aren't a couple, "And what if I said yes?", Says Lina, talking to herself, " So what if we are dating or something? Why am I still thinking about this stuff? So annoying!"

Our dear students have the awaited Sunday to enjoy for now. Lina enjoys a refreshing shower then she gets back to her room and starts writing a little. From the moment that she got praised by Romeo, she got even more hooked on developing some good poems.

"I think I should call it a day!", Says Lina while yawning, "It's getting dark as well after all."

She takes her phone and starts browsing her Instagram a little, waiting for dinner time. Then she gets this curiosity attack, "It wouldn't harm anyone if I take a look at her Instagram, right?", Then she gets into Sara's account and gets amazed by those well-taken photos and her unmatched beauty, "She really is something." What made Lina throw her phone all of a sudden on her bed, is the fact that Sara just sent her a follow request, "It appears that I'm not the only one getting curious", Says Lina just after accepting that request. After that, they start sharing a short conversation:

-Sara: Hi Lina! How are you?

-Lina: I'm fine thanks ^^

-Lina: And you how are you doing? Enjoying your weekend?

-Sara: I guess so, Haha!

-Sara: I actually want to ask you something...

-Lina: Dig in!

-Sara: Is there a girl that Romeo is seeing currently or something like that?

-Sara: This is embarrassing T~T

Lina puts her hand over her mouth; eyes googling brightly and a fully red line crosses her cheeks and the tip of her nose. It didn't take her that long to answer the girl though:

-Lina: No. I think he's free.

-Lina: For now that is.

-Sara: I see... Then can I ask you for a favor pretty please?

-Lina:?

-Sara: Can you help me pass more time with him? Who knows, maybe he'll get interested in me and things work out between us XD

...

"SHE SAID WHAT???????"
