[We hope you enjoy making your tale]

The first thing I noted was the change in the login words. Did it have to do with my new tier upgrade or something? Whichever it was I just smiled and moved on.

Today was a great day to do something different in the Star Rings universe. My timetable was kind of short since many things were yet to be stabilized.

I had the divines and daemons fighting it out on their realms for their respective territory. Had a threat brewing below them while they fought readily eager to come up and snap at their heels.

The same threat that would rise for the mortals soon enough. It was my personal The Devil's Initiative.

It would bring the Daemons and Divines closer to each other to face a similar threat. While also sharpening and polishing the gems that were the mortals creating more powerful souls for my universe. Souls that's either become Fearghals, Fearghal Sentinels, or something I was yet to create.

Either way, it was assured that these strong souls would fight for me in the coming wars.

With that note, I had my current plan. While the gods battled themselves and the Devils grew, the mortals basked in their peace and mini-wars. It was time to shake them up a little.

It had been quite several years since the first and only sighting of the lady Hildelith. The city had grown ever since then mostly due to her now increased strength.

The city had seen many changes due to its visitors flocking to lay eyes on the Touched One. The tale of her death and revival was a wildly spun story by the church of Her lady.

Most times Daena found them repulsive but made little to no attempt to halt their activities as long as none brought damage or any kind of negative effects to her people.

In her mid-twenties, the Evershu was stronger than she had ever been in the past. Having earned experience not just from killing the beasts of Vaustaris but also from practicing her skills. Both special and generalized ones.

Today she had just returned from the forest of the Undule. Their neighbors who while not very believing of her tale did respect her might. She was already friends with their strongest and always went on several hunting sessions with them.

She was returning from one such hunt. The wild princess as many would call her after her Oritais rise to being a kingdom with several adjoining villages was covered with dirt and gore from the blood goblin she and her group of Undule friends had hunted past the Aeus road and deep into black wood far to the Undule's north and Oritais northeast.

Her armor was cracked from the savage fight showing how much danger a blood goblin posed. Her five comrades Undules except one, an Evershu, rode behind her on the sea mares. Docile field creatures that loved to gravitate to the sea when not being led. Looking much like horses but with magically energized and adept bodies that let them store mana to use as energy.

While horses were faster the sea mares would outlast them in a race due to this capability.

The Evershu had been her guard at the time. Fathers and their inability to see their little princesses harmed. She'd been stuck with him since then. She nevertheless minded it less since it got her father off her back.

The said Evershu was a large male amongst her people. Muscular and tall with the knight class and sword master perk. Her Undule group was made up of three females and two males. While it looked like she might have been the leader there was no such thing. She merely took the lead in Oritais as its princess.

In the Undule forest, they were all just another party of adventurers. Something that had come into existence a few years after Hildelith's descent.

The adventurers took it upon themselves to curb the dangerous beasts roaming their homelands and supposed territories. Soon enough those versed in potion-making and alchemy began seeing the resourcefulness in the flesh, blood, and bones of the wild beasts.

With orders began flowing in for these parts and even more dangerous beasts appearing it became a norm to kill stronger and at times even the weaker beasts.

And so adventuring was born.

It was uncertain if it was truly born here or if someone had brought it from another Evershu kingdom but it spread nonetheless.

Now the wild princess had returned home.

Something was in the air. She could feel it. It was indecipherable Like a charged static filling the air waiting and posed to be unleashed.

There was tension in the sky and the normally blue and beautiful heavens were gathering dark clouds. Clouds that we're neither moving from the north nor south to tell if it was an incoming storm rolling in.

The sea itself was turbulent and the Undule had expressed how the forest was restless.

Saw a knew that something big was coming. Something that had all of Vaustaris reaching. It was why she had returned home.

The Undules escorted her due to the belief that their people would be okay.

The sea mares were led away once the party alighted and then the grand doors opened to let in the group. They all followed Daena passing the many hallways of the already rebuilt and enlarged palace.

Forged out of Dulamire stones and not wood this time. The girl led her group into the large throne room where a large crowd of people was gathered discussing several political rabbles that didn't interest the girl. The conversations halted as several voices and whispers pointed her out.

There were nobles and noblewomen. Their various children, both sons vying for her hand and daughters eager to gain her brother's attention. Said male was standing to the side with his posse attending to the hounds of noble children with various affairs that Daena was sure had nothing to do with her little brother.

The boy met her gaze, anger, and envy in them. Anger due to her refusal to take him along to escape this drama as he put it and envy due to her not getting the crown princess title and as such not getting stuck like him who had gotten it. While he could leave if so needed it was more for duty than fun.

A wink from Daena had the male fume and scoff before looking away back to his posse.

Daena chuckled at his childishness though she understand his frustrations. After all, she had fled for the same reasons.

'Sorry little brother. it's safer in here. ' her gaze swept the greedy looks of the noble before she mentally added. 'I think'. Something she knew already was that an intelligent beast was always more dangerous than a feral one.

With one, you knew what to expect. On the other, all hands on deck were needed.

A few feet to her father's throne Daena halted about to introduce and pay respects to the king as customary.

That was when it happened.

It was like Vaustaris finally managed to release itself of whatever weight it had been bearing. Lightning rumbled in the sky, the earth shook a bit though nothing firmly rooted to the ground moved. Finally, the wind stirred and blew the gowns and robes of various noble and noble women about.

Then there was a pin-drop silence, right before the space before Daena cracked, and from it, six figures materialized.

Daena had to give it to the guards. They were quick to respond. Still, one look at the amused familiar face of the female who had not changed one bit standing in front of the other five had her scurrying to command the halt of the guards.

"Hold your arms!" the guards taught to protect before obeying didn't seem to listen until a stamp from the wild princess swayed their footsteps as the ground shook.

Everyone stopped moving from that little display.

"Hehehe. I see you grew little Daena." the female chuckled as she stared at the grown woman who took her gaze off the guards before stepping forward and sinking to a knee.

"My Lady".

The crowd broke their script of silence as noise flooded the room. Whispers, queries, and questions. It seemed the sight of the princess kneeling to one, not the king was something unheard of.

" All bow before her lady Hildelith instantly" the roar from Daena shook most spines even her friends who had been with her on most if not all her adventures feeling the blow of strength, one the thought themselves used to.

The hall of course remained hesitant.

"My lady forgive them they do not..." it was Rauf, King of Oritais. Father to Daena who came this time to plead. Expecting her to be wrathful at the people's insolence.

On a knee before her which further shocked the people who wondered what was going on the King bowed to the female.

"Oh. I don't care about such things." a nod from one of the five behind her was noticed. "But it seems I have to make a show right" she added.

The words chilled Daena and the king's hearts while the Queen who was already at their side as well as the prince who while young back then had been old enough to understand what had happened shivered visibly.

Hearing her say the words 'show' made them stiffen. After all, a show of her power had brought back an entire city to life.

While she had claimed to do it with their faith, firstly, who knew what could have changed, two, the church, Daena, and her family always prayed to her for all these years. Shouldn't her faith be excessive by now?

They felt it then. A pressure like nothing ever felt clouding their minds and stuffing their souls. Like someone holding their heads under water while a spectral hand tried to crush their soul and a heavy mountain was placed atop their body.

Entrapping but not killing them.

A scene flashed before their eyes. The golden light in the distance. Darkness around. Five little golden lights and a host of tinier golden lights. All circulated the first light that made the sun look like a candle wick.

It was just for a second but their brains almost popped. Their eyes rolled into the back of their skulls as most convulsed and dropped to the floor with spasms.

"Oops. I guess aura isn't unhindered. Still, that was barely one percent. Geez, you guys need to get stronger" a wave of her palms and a bright light swept through the city.

The crowd was quick to get back on their feet, yet none had the time to be embarrassed at their uncouth display. The only thoughts in their mind kneeling before the beings.

"Well, that went well. A tad much but well" the lady spoke. "Now rise people I don't have all day ". she announced.
