Tree mountain

The chakrams split the air slicing deep gashes into the Pawns as they flew. Hilde evaded and dodged each vine that came for her as she caught and threw the chakrams over and over again. It was a cycle of catching, evasion, and throwing. With each attempt she got better, with each evasion she became more dextrous, and with each step, she took her mind spun with the information she needed to get better.

Finally, after hours of prolonged exercise, she checked her skills status.

She frowned at the meager progress she'd gotten and consoled herself with the new skill earned before turning her attention to the Orchid up above. It had hung there for a long time filling itself with whatever energy it manipulated here.

Hilde didn't care. Her mind cleared up as she remembered the rune she desired for this moment. Her chakrams whistled in the air headed for her, hands a sharp blur as she swiped them up. Divine energy flowed from her as she crouched, and the ground exploded beneath her. Her velocity cracked wherever she stepped and in a blur, she was at her destination. The only sign of her entrance was her foot sliding on the ground to halt her speed leaving a rumpled burrow of earth. Now she stood behind a pawn with a gripping hand gesture making her will grab the entity and with a toss launch it up to the orchid. A smile stretched across her lip as she watched the Orchid catch and toss the Pawn up and away. Kill-slot activated. Above her divinity congregated a foot high to form a symbol. The mega rune glowed as she poked it with her will.

The blast it released shattered the environment, the ground tore to pieces, the air was pushed away, and whatever was left within its presence burned. The dust and smoke created the perfect concealment as she summoned yet another friend.

Harbinger weaved smoothly into existence it's pristine wood ever alluring. The girl had no time to admire it though as the string creaked from her pull. The blue ethereal arrow formed instantly as she aimed above.

Twang.

The Orchid had been observing the proceedings below while trying its best to absorb Ira. The wrathful energy it possessed which gave it the path to subject its prey to its anger leaked from its body. The petals of its flower waved as a huge ball of energy that had been condensing inside it finally finished. Yet just when it attempted to put the legged being in its place and end it the air quaked and the environment turned white.

The next thing it felt was an unspeakable danger like it would receive its end if it dared stay put.

Barely a second after it darted away it spotted an illusionary arrow fly past its position. Contempt rose within the Orchid at the measly attack against it from a lower life form as it saw it. Yet it paused as a pain beyond anything gripped it. The Orchid shivered and shook, its levitation cutting off as it faltered and dropped to the ground. To its side, a dead pawn dropped with blue ice visible on its chest.

Hilde's blue eyes moved through the dust as she tracked the falling flower with the point of a new arrow. The twang was audible in the silence yet the Orchid could do nothing as it watched certain death loom.

The mushrooms cheered as they watched the Orchid freeze up and fall to ashes. Their cries of jubilation and joy were so tiny it was not perceivable. The Mushroom who led this contingent had a look of vindication as he looked to the female giant releasing her bow. He was right.

She was the one. It had to be.

Smoke rose from the burning city Cain was headed to. He watched with his perfect vision the various skirmishes ongoing both within, in the skies, and outside the city. Faora's dragons battled his angels, ex-angels in the skies. Destroyers rumbled with the crafty Demoni and his angels on the ground. At times some of his angels and ex-angels performed aerial swoops to attack the ground forces.

The more he watched the more Cain realized a significant problem. His angels were dying, the dragons were succumbing to their wounds and the Deomomi were shrieking as they were...

"What are they..." his question was cut off as he saw a destroyer vomit or more like have a series of tentacles exit its maw and push into the wounds of the dragon it was attacking. Cain took a disbelieving step forward as he watched the tentacle extract something glowing from the dragon's body.

"Shard"

The destroyer swallowed the shard, its eye flame increasing like it had been fueled and then relaxing. The creature took a step back, snarled, and pounced on another unsuspecting enemy. Cain's attention wanted to follow the Destroyer but something nudged at him to focus on the Dragon. Man was he right.

It was one thing to watch a dead creature regain life in a movie, it was another in a game where you were just a distance away. A game with the level of realism this one had. The dragon's eyelids twitched, and then its paw spasmed. The wound on its chest emitted a green flame just as its eyes shot open. It rose with a stagger, its green flames blinking from here to there as it tried to get its bearings. It stopped after getting its balance back. Then it reared its head up, spread its wings, and opened its maw to utter a roar.

Cain fisted his palm as he watched this. He had underestimated the creator who had made this. He wanted his partners to be caught up in a battle to keep them busy but such an ability was terrifying. Would it be possible to turn creators into zombies too? He tried to think of it, a zombie creator. He shivered.

Cain knew that he had to reshuffle his plans. Act now or his plans would be derailed. First, he would measure his enemy's strength then he would plan accordingly. Hopefully, the zombification was their main deal.

With that thought, Cain's eyes brightened in its golden hue and with a glance, he found what he sought.

[Gaze of Order]

[All crimes have traces and evidence. With your light expose the trails and the hidden marks of the perpetrators]

Cain was running into the forest his eyes following a green trail that vanished within. He felt like he should at least summon the other creators for this, the odds he would be less powerful than the enemy were low, but he didn't get this far by taking unnecessary risks. All he had to do was find the creator and then summon the others. Thanks to the system oath, alerting his partners in times such as this was not impossible.

He halted at the edge of the forest where the green trail vanished into. Confirming that the signal to the other creators had been sent Cain rushed in.

*

A headless destroyer pounced on a living one, tentacles from its throat burrowing into the living destroyer's mauled neck and ripping out its shard. The headless destroyer shook with glee letting out a soundless roar of victory. It was cut off as an arm pushed it to the side without a glance. Irritated it spun to rip its antagonist to shreds only for its body to quiver in fear from the three pairs of cold eyes which locked onto it for barely a second.

Anoma strode past eyeing the countless destroyers that tried to attack from all sides. In his upper right arm, he wielded a blade condensed from miasma. It was so dense and thick that it looked like a black sword flickering with green and golden fire.

The headless destroyer's fear abated as it noted its king ignoring it, moving forward and past the enemy till he stood within their center. The various living destroyers roared with animalistic rage as they surged forward. The headless destroyer and all the unliving destroyers screeched as they too dashed forward.

Anoma's sword flickered, and the flames of his eyes brightened and burned higher. His legs crouched as his arms tensed, and then with an exhale of smoke, the King swung his blade in a circular arc. A wave of green frost fire slashed out leaving frozen ground and air around him before reaching the destroyers.

It was a massacre. The energy bisected the creatures in two, their torsos upwards flying above and their lower parts rolling down on the floor. The shattered leftover energy created spiked ice with corrupted tips that impaled those behind. The unliving destroyers were unbothered by the energy as it washed over them like a buff. Those split in two simply grabbed their lower parts and reconnected them with a hiss of green flame.

Anoma wordlessly strode on into the ranks of terrified destroyers. His left upper arm formed a short sword as he moved reaping lives.

Above a One-eyed destroyer rose with anger brimming in its eyes. White mist scattered from its body as it vanished.

To the north, the trees creaked and shook as a God blurred through in a streak of golden light following a green trail visible only to him. To the northwest two females spawned into the plains their eyes filled with separate emotions. One cold as ice with a sly smile and the other nothing. To the central west, a female walked through a wide and white field unaware of the trouble rising.

Anoma cared not for any of this. All the king knew was simple. Bring all to False life and cement her rule. His swords seemed to agree with him as they lopped off heads even faster than before. Each strike left a green flame that devoured the cores of the corpse and released a trail of energy into the king. He killed, absorbed, grew, and brought them back as unlife to battle for his goddess.
