Paige spotted his car parked not far from the hospital and walked over.

Did I keep you waiting? she asked once she got to the car.

No, he smiled showing off his well arranged white teeth, He got off and walked towards her. How was work?.

Tell me about it over dinner he said and opened the door for her and only closed it after she was safely in then walked back to the drivers seat.

Where are we going? she asked Trevor after he sat .

I discovered a restaurant that serves the best Asian food, you will definitely like it.

I was craving something spicy, this better not disappoint.

The rest of the trip was peaceful with occasional jokes.

Is Martin still giving you a hard time?

Yes he is but don't worry I will be moving to a new department next week.

They finally got to the restaurant located out of the main city it was secluded with a few people. The environment was quiet and fancy with modern fittings, he had reserved a table by the window with a sunset view.

I have been cooked up with work I completely forgot how beautiful the sunset is, Paige said while she looked at the sun making her brown eyes sparkle.

Am glad you like it, Trevor said with his eyes focused on her, This woman will be the death of me he thought, he suppressed his thought and lead her to the table to sit.

Not long the food was served and the table was full of different dishes.

There is no way I will be finishing all this, Paige complained the moment she saw the dishes.

You can take your time to eat, he said and passed the shrimp to her after he finished peeling it. Try this .

She took the shrimp and ate, her eyes brightened as the taste hit her taste buds this is nice she said all happily.

Right? try this one as well he took a peace of beef and fed her which she gladly ate and really enjoyed he repeated the same action from each serving and fed her, by the time she finally protested to stop she had already had half of everything.

By the time we live this place I will be unable to walk, if you keep feeding me like this. she said.

I mean you didn't even eat that much, he said.

This is 5 times my normal meal a day, she protested and you have barely eaten. eat something as well am good for now. she said and extended her abdomen to show she was full.

He laughed at her reaction and didn't insist on feeding her, he proceeded to eat with the same chop sticks he used for her.

Paige was a little surprised but brushed it off.

Oh my day was fine, I monitored my two patients with heart defects that will be having their surgery tomorrow and reviewed the other babies that previous had surgeries, got in an argument with Martin and then..

Martine? what did he do? he asked in a low voice and continued to eat.

Its nothing serious just the usual complaints though he pushed me against the door but its nothing I couldn't handle.

Trevor's expression darkened after the last sentence and looked at her instinctively.

He touched you? he asked this time with more command.

Despite Trevor's face be so expressional this was the first time Paige saw his face darken it sent chills along he spine and shivered a little.

Yes, she nodded with her face looking down afraid to look up.

M...my face and she stuttered but was cut off by the sound of Trevor's phone. She secretly breathed out with relief and waited for him to pick up the call.

On the other side Trevor's face darkened even more that the air around them got cold, it was scary even for Paige to breath. He attentively looked at the caller before he finally picked up.

What? he said clearly not in the right mood.

Am really sorry to call you when you are already in a bad mood, the person from the other side said. But sir the Smiths have made a move.

There was total silence before he asked after glaring at Paige who had been avoiding his eyes.

What time is the meeting?

Its at Ten tomorrow in the morning sir, he replied. they found out you are not around and wanted to hold the meeting in your absence.

Book a flight as soon as possible I will be starting off.

I have already done that sir your flight is in four hours.

Okay. he answered and end the call without waiting for response.

Let's go, he instructed the waiter to pack the remaining and left with Paige obediently walking behind him. completely confused about what just transpired but to scared to ask.

The whole trip back home was tense and suffocating, no one dared to say a word. Once and home he held Paige's hand and dragged her straight to his room and shut the door behind him.

What are you doing? Paige asked.

Without answering her, He lightly pushed her to the door and locked her escape with his hands.

Where did he touch you? he demanded again with his breath hitting her skin sending chills to her body.

did he touch you like this? he slowly trailed his finger on her face from her ear down her neck and waited her to respond but was too scared to answer and just watched him.

I expect an answer to my question, Where did he touch you,? he asked again this time his hand was prying her waist, his focus was still on her face for reactions. Seeing her look at him straight in his eyes he couldn't suppress his emotions anymore but forced a kiss on her, His tongue exploring hers with no room to breath.

She tried to resist but he only deepened the kiss. Carried away by the moment she responded to his desire and allowed him devour in her mouth then he suddenly stopped and pushed her away instinctively.

shocked from being pushed away Paige looked at him indifferently.

Am sorry, He said and looked away. Am really sorry I didn't mean to cross the line.

Can we talk about it later please, he said and took her out and shut the door.

This man has the Audacity to kiss me, lead on and just kick me out, she complained internally nearly kicking the door with range. Fighting the urge to knock the door she collected herself and went back to her room mad. Its just a kiss nothing more to it with that thought she forced herself to sleep at least pretended to be asleep.

On the other side, Trevor didn't understand how he lost control and kissed her, the thought of her being touched by another man was burning him inside. pushing that thought aside he took a bath and parked a few clothes and only told Aunty lucy he had something to do back home and left without saying bye to Paige.
