Usopp The Liar pt1

Upon waking up me and Momo did some morning exercises while nami was still sleeping, I never thought about it much but me and Momo had become very in sync. I suppose that's what happens when you spend all your time with someone. While we had some time to ourselves we also got a bit physical with some kissing as we watched the sunrise together.

Almost as soon as the next island came into view Nami woke up so I took the chance to give a briefing on why we were headed to Syrup Village. "on this island is a notorious pirate that has gone into hiding, not only will we apprehend him but soon his crew will come to enact his plan and we can beat them up for all their loot, unfortunately, the pirate is currently the butler of this towns heiress and as such we won't be able to approach until he enacts his plan" At this Nami was incredibly sceptical and voiced her concerns "How could you possibly know all that? you are basically predicting the future" "In time you will realise that I know more than you could possibly imagine, but for now, I just ask that you have trust in me and follow my lead" I ended with a beaming smile towards Nami who seemed to shy away and blush a little, Momo and I let out a light giggle at this before gearing up to land as we were pretty close now.

Upon landing at the South Beach we were greeted by a man popping up from behind the bushes before he started running and yelling that pirates were here. Nami panicked and started to run after him but I held her at bay as we calmly walked up the slope and into town. Nami was baffled at the townsfolk who just kept going about their day as the man ran through town yelling the same thing over and over. I gave a grandiose introduction to Nami and Momo "Welcome to Syrup village home of the infamous Usopp the liar" at this both Nami and Momo nodded in realisation that the reason nobody reacted was that the man was a notorious liar, it's not like we are even technically pirates yet, we don't have a flag and we don't have bounties.

Upon walking through town the only things of note were the man from earlier playing pirate with a group of three children and the imposing mansion that overlooked the town. Upon observing the mansion it was clear that we were still running on time as the disguised Captain Kuro was clearly still working at the mansion. The town itself was quite small but we were still able to find an Inn and rent two rooms, one for me and Momo and one for Nami, Nami seemed sceptical about this arrangement but didn't voice any complaints.

Our next few days were spent training and leisurely touring the island before
