Several thousands of years ago, the Grand Sage Saint is the most powerful cultivator in Fenghua Great Continent and he has created the Carnation Goddess Painting in which portrayed the 7 Saintesses in various compromising lewd poses. 

From this Carnation Goddess Painting, he is going to select only 1 Saintess to be the Carnation Goddess. 

But before this great work can be completed, he is mortally wounded by the 7 Saintesses and is thought to be dead. But he's back now for vengeance.

Now in cultivation, these were the stages of the cultivation realms; Foundation, Qi Condensation, Bronze Core, Silver Core, Gold Core, Yuan Yin, Revolving Core, Awakened, Saint/ Saintess, Sage Saint/ Sage Saintess, Grand Sage Saint/ Grand Sage Saintess.

The Carnation Goddess

When Shen Lie had returned to the outer palaces, he had suddenly chanced upon Jie Ying.

Jie Ying was delighted when she saw him, "Brother Shen Lie, are you alright?"

"What punishments did you receive?"

Shen Lie laughed softly, "I haven't got my punishments yet. I was asked to wait in the outer palaces first until further notice as the 3 holy saintesses wish to discuss some urgent matters first. But don't worry for me, alright?"

Jie Ying sighed heavily, "How could I not be worry for you? Please pardon me for saying so. I really think that our holy saintess seems to dislike you and she is only trying to punish you on purpose."

Shen Lie laughed softly, "Oh no, she is really a nice maiden."

Jie Ying sighed heavily, "Brother Shen Lie, you are just too nice to everyone. Even the protégés from our cohort are all laughing at you today."

Shen Lie grinned, "Don't worry. I am the Grand Sage Saint Shen Lie…"
