From this Carnation Goddess Painting, he is going to select only 1 Saintess to be the Carnation Goddess. 

But before this great work can be completed, he is mortally wounded by the 7 Saintesses and is thought to be dead. But he's back now for vengeance.

Now in cultivation, these were the stages of the cultivation realms; Foundation, Qi Condensation, Bronze Core, Silver Core, Gold Core, Yuan Yin, Revolving Core, Awakened, Saint/ Saintess, Sage Saint/ Sage Saintess, Grand Sage Saint/ Grand Sage Saintess.

The Carnation Goddess

Holy Saintess Beitang Fang soon organized a ballot and all the participating protégés for her Survival Trial were ordered to picked a colored stone from a black bag that was held in front of her.

The colored stones were red, black, orange, green and blue.

She had Fairy Xiang Yun to hold the black bag and to supervise the ballot.

One by one, the protégés began to line up to pick the colored stone in the black bag and to be formed into their groups.

When it was Shen Lie's turn to pick his colored stone, he exchanged a secret look with Fairy Xiang Yun and their hands were even touching deliberately.

This of course did not escape the eyes of the Holy Saintess Beitang Fang as she was paying particular attention to Fairy Xiang Yun and Shen Lie. After all, Fairy Xiang Yun was her spy to entrap Shen Lie in the very first place.

Shen Lie then picked the blue stone.
