The world which has been at peace lately suddenly, and slowly, is falling into chaos as various kinds of supernatural events happened all around which made the people feel fear. Due to this, the Feixue Group, a group of exorcists, was created to solve the supernatural events. Duan Yuan is one of them. Even if his eyes are blind, but they are not when it comes to the supernatural things. 

Duan Yuan was on his way back to his university when he overheard someone talking about a popular haunted place to which many wanted to go, but no one dared. Out of sense of responsibility as an exorcist, he accompanied a horror livestream anchor, thinking that the other might die because the place reeks of evil. 
But, it turned out that not only he was not needed to save the other, but the other saved him instead?! And so began his recruit for the other to be an exorcist. Little did he know that the other was actually a big bad demon.

"Everyone is tired. Let's have dinner first and take a rest before assembling by midnight to set up the formation." Duan Yuan spoke when they arrived in the hotel's lobby.

This hotel is one of the hotels under 'Nie Fan's (the original) properties. So, their accommodation is naturally free, which is one of the benefits of working in the Exorcist Committee. Of course, they would reciprocate it with their dedication in work. They also know that money doesn't come from air or it was created by magic. Everything is earned, not received. So, what they received should be reciprocated by them in equal.
