It was a bit cloudy today and it was the first day at my work in Houston law firm. I was happy to start my regular life in this new place.

As I reached office there was a great welcome with bouquet of flower. As I know it was a combination of roses and orchid.

The receptionist took me to my new cabin which was also having some bouquets. It was really a great welcome.

As the receptionist went the boss came in. While I was facing back of my chair where I was watching the flowers.

Mr. Wayne :- Welcome, Miss Isabella Hayes to the Houston law firm.

Me :- Thanks sir. Thanku for this great welcome.

Mr. Wayne :- So starting of a new chapter of your life Miss. Isabella, so many many heartiest congratulations to you for joining our law firm and my whole firm is looking forward to work with you.

Me :- I am also looking forward to have a new start in this organization.

Mr. Wayne :- Then I won't keep you awaited. Miss. Tia will be your assistant from now on and she will be sitting at the corner room of your cabin . So have good start.

Me :- Ya, sure I would really like work with her. Thanks!

The first day went very nice.

Tia was a really good assistant rather to say she and I gradually shared a bond of friendship during this four months. Four months passed by with a nice environment. During this four months I have been defending many casses and fortunately the decision was in favour of me. I became a very good and to be known in our office.

During this four months I had been busy a lot due to pike of casses that was coming continuously. During this I have got an idea about a good work place that I was expecting. I am not saying that the previous firm was bad or any hate speech about it, it was somewhat that I was not getting exposure to different casses. But over here I was getting to learn new things.

On other hand my sister Eda was planning to come Sacramento to have her higher studies on general management in Sacramento. It was not confirm yet.

It was my 5th month at this Houston firm. All things were going very good. I was working one day in my cabin. Suddenly Tia came and asked me to visit Mr. Wayne office. She also said that there were two people sitting.

One of them was a man having a white face wearing suit and other man was around the same but was around between his 20's Or 30's .

She also said that the second man was carrying a black briefcase. I agreed to her went to Mr. Wayne's cabin that was at 5 th floor. While going I was thinking that what would be the matter that Mr. Wayne called me for.

When I was came at the door of the cabin, I took a deep breath and went inside the cabin.

They all were sitting and waiting for me. Mr. Wayne stood up as I asked for the permission to enter his cabin. He introduced me to the two men sitting there. I also got to know their name the one who was white face was Vince Medhurst and the man who was in between his 20's to 30's was Darius Collins . I wished them Good morning. Mr. Wayne asked me to have a seat. As I sat he discussed with me why he have called me.

Mr. Wayne :- So, Bella I have called you here because of Vince Medhurst case. So the case is simple but you have to defend him.

Me :- Okay. I am all ears.

Mr. Wayne :- This time you are not defending a victim.

Me :- Okay.

Mr. Wayne :- So, please have a seat.

Me :- Sure

Mr. Wayne :- So the case is that a Vince had killed man.

Me :- What?

Mr. Wayne :- Please listen to me. Because the man who was killed was trying to kill Mr. Vince due to their family possession so due to this Vince had killed the man in self defence. One of the men has a blurry view of the murder. But police have caught him as it happened to be in front of his house . So you need to save Mr. Vince from getting arrested as it is not his mistake .

Me :- What? Are you saying that I am going to defend Mr. Vince who have done this murder and make an innocent man behind the bars?

Mr. Wayne :- Yes, you need to do it. Because Mr. Vince is not wrong and his family is really good, he have no charges at all.

Me :- Really, then I think I need to check it. Can you please excuse me for a minute.

I just went up from the chair and by moving near to the door, I took my phone and call him.

Bob :- Hello Bella. What happened?

Me :- Hello. Can I get some information quickly.

Bob :- Ya sure, but whom?

Me :- Can you look some information about Mr. Vince Medhurst and his family and any information about Vince. Can I get it quick.

Bob :- Okay. I am sending you the details within 2 minutes.

Me :- Okay. Quick please.

Then I came back to my seat.

Mr. Wayne :- Who was it?

Me :- You can say that that's totally my business.

Mr. Wayne :- Oh really. What are you trying to do?

Me :- You will get to know it within 2 minutes.

After 2 minute's

A message came containg the information.

Me :- So, Mr. Vince you are clear chit person there are no charges upon you right.

Vince :- Yes, I am.

Me :- Really, huh?

Darius :- What do you mean? Stop this nonsense.

Me :- Nonsense , really. First of all both of you stop saying lies. At least when I am having all your details. Ahh..

Mr. Wayne :- What are you saying?

Me :- Mr. Vince is not really a good man. There are many reports of him being drinking and driving his car. There are also complaints that he have hit some people under that condition. To it, he have assaulted some girls a dabused them. Isn't it Mr. Vince. Should I provide more details in a brief manner...

Mr. Wayne :- Stop it.

Me :- Why? As I said the truth.

Mr. Wayne :- I know all of it. Do stop being so over dramatic and defend him.

Me :- Really, do you want me to fight for this man. Really? I won't defend anyone who have committed crime or all this type of work. It's better if you fight Mr. Wayne as people who committed crime can easily be defended by those who are like them.

Mr. Wayne :- He is really a good man, he offered us so much money have it and just fight the case.

Me :- Ha..ha..ha. Keep your so called money to yourself I don't need your money. How much may you offer I won't fight the case. Have the case and the money to yourself sir.

As I was leaving Vince holded my hand.

Me :- How dare you?

Vince :- Hey.. Girl don't be so rude. See you won't get this much money any where. Moreover, you can have me too I have no problem with it . Cause beautiful people only can have handsome man like me.

Me :- First of all keep your money to yourself and leave my hand.

Vince :- Don't get angry. (By saying this Vince was trying to touch my hair).

Me :- You don't know me. Better take off your hands or else...

Vince :- What?

Me :- What.....(in a loud voice) The time that I took to get your information out within that time the video in the surveillance camera will also be out to everyone after that what will happen you know ver nicely.... If you don't believe I can make the video out also.

Darius :- Leave her Vince. Don't call any more trouble to yourself.

Vince :- You.

Me :- Stop your nonsense and get your hands out of me.

Mr. Wayne :- If you do it than your promotion and the work the fame that you have now will all be snatched. So you know what to do.

Me :- Ya, I know that i am not going to fight this case. So have it on your own sir.

Saying this I left.........
