The Chosens' Part One

 When I arrive back home Silas and Alek are standing in the room. Well kind of. Kia has Silas pushed against the wall with a growl coming from her, while she’s standing on top of Alek. 


 I give an amused smile at this odd little scene. “Kia, sevane.” 


 “Where have you been?” Alek gasps as he gets up. Kia gives me a dirty look before returning to her hiding spot. 


 “Well, I finally bathed. I also went and shed my scales. It was months overdue.” I run my fingers through my hair. “Also, it’s been weeks since I was able to be in the water. Now, what are you doing here?” 


 “What time do you want to leave?” Alek asks as I pull myself out of the water. While I’m still covered in scales, I grab a robe and put it on. 


 I shake out my hair as I think. “I’ll meet you two in Estra. I want to go to the Aullirian Library and see what I can find about Greyson’s ward.”
