Third person’s p. o. v.
Derek’s grey eyes stared unsurely at the queen, he was a wise man after all, one who followed his guts to the very end, and for the queen to think that Derek would even for a minute consider her quest had to not be in the right mind.
He knew he could easily get her captured by his guards just by pressing the white button that camouflaged with the wall just where he was sat, but he was interested in hearing what the queen had to offer, he wanted to know why the queen so desired to be in control and what she was after.
“I am listening.” He let out as he looked directly in his eyes, he was no longer as scared as he was a few minutes ago, just mainly curious.
“You are a wise man I presume, otherwise Selene would have never let you rule her beings, and you seem to still care so greatly for my niece even after the hell she put you through, which leads to the conclusion that this offer of mine will be of great benefit to you, as it will to me.”
