Chapter 07

It feels like a week has gone by very quickly, the ospek training led by Alaska has been completed. Me and some friends in the same direction as me have been sitting in class since a few minutes ago. I sat next to Chelsy of course, we became very close day by day. This time I think I really have a friend.

Since the day the inspection ended, I no longer met the man face to face, I never found him anywhere on campus. However, I never missed sending him food that he either ate or threw away. I haven't been monitoring him since I saw with my own eyes that he just threw it in the trash.

Maybe it's because I have a lot of class schedules that I get from day to day, even though I've only been sitting for three days in the learning process.

I wish I could see him after this.

"Today's meeting is over, don't forget your assignments that will be collected next Sunday." The lecturer started to pack his things after hearing the calls from all the students.

One by one, they scattered, Chelsy came out first because she wanted to go to the toilet. I came out last, the lecturer stopped me because he told me to bring some piles of files to his room. He said he had to go to another room.

Ah, I actually don't like entering the rooms of lecturers or teachers, there must be a lot of lecturers in there, and I hate anything formal. But well, they said, we have to be smarter to win the hearts of lecturers if we want the results to be very satisfying.

My legs managed to enter the room, I also greeted several lecturers I knew who had entered the classroom. My gaze fell on the man who had disappeared from my sight for three days. He was still the same, still looking cold with a straight face. Then what again? Of course I approached him.

"Hi!" It's up to me how I want to greet him, the most important thing is that I'm happy because I can see him again. He turned his head, stopping his activity which was arranging piles of papers on one of the lecturers' desks.

"Why?" It was the first time he spoke to me after being in the infirmary.

"Is she your girlfriend?" The old male lecturer asked.

"No, Professor." Alaska answered, leaving me scratching the back of my neck before coming up with an idea.

"He's really good at lying, Professor. I'm his girlfriend." My smile widened when I found the lecturer nodded his head in understanding, there was no other response from Alaska other than chuckling softly.

"Go away," he shooed me away? Wow, he's already brave.

"Let me help you, it's evil to tell me to leave." He chuckled softly again after I said something that might be disgusting to him.

I heard the lecturer sitting near us laughing softly while shaking his head. "Alaska, don't be mean to your girlfriend like that, what if he doesn't like you, huh? Even though the man handsome, women will still think twice about keeping a man if they have that attitude."

I secretly laughed a little, the lecturer apparently supported us. Well, this is one more small step forward for me.

"Done, Professor. Can I go now?"

"Ah, actually I wanted to ask you to bring here the thesis for the class that graduated three years ago here, I want to check it. There's no way you let your girl pick it up alone, right?"

Gosh, this is the first time I've found a lecturer who really supports romance and someone's approach, he seems to really want me to be close to Alaska. Alright Professor, I'll definitely do it.

He looked at me for about two seconds, then heaved a small sigh and grabbed the key to the room the professor handed him. I gave a sweet smile by raising my thumb in the air as a form of thanks to the lecturer.

Next, I guided my steps to follow Alaska who walked with long strides, of course I was left behind. Could he just walk a little slower? I'm having a hard time keeping up.

Then, when I was focused on looking down at our steps that I was still trying to match with him, suddenly a hand pulled my shoulder to make my body stick to it. Really? He just pulled me because he almost collided with a group of men who were walking without looking around. Actually, I'm a little grateful that he pulled me over, so I don't have to deal with that brat.

"Try to pay attention to your surroundings when walking." He removed his hand from my shoulder, walking back away from me who was blushing. Yes, although I know that he did it by accident.

We ended up in a fairly narrow room, only a few shelves filled it. We went in there and I coughed a little because the room was full of dust.

I saw the man was reaching for something from his alma mater pocket, he was wearing a black mask so he wouldn't end up like me, it's a shame I didn't bring a mask. Again, the man didn't seem to care about me who was desperately holding my breath so as not to inhale the smell of the dust.

We started looking for the script in question without anyone talking to each other. Then my eyes accidentally turned to him who pulled a thesis to read without paying attention to a thick book with quite sharp corners at the edges. The book would fall on him if he didn't move from there. Then, feeling that there was no time to scream, I pushed him away from there and ended up with the pointy end of the book hitting his wrist.

Damn, bloody, I hate it when any part of my body bleeds from an incident.

I started to wince slowly when I found blood coming out of it, I moved it because it felt sore and throbbing pain, I also don't like to see blood.

However, the man who I thought would not care about my condition grabbed my wrist suddenly, he glanced at him for a few seconds and pulled out a chair for me to sit there. His fingers slid back into his almameter pocket, this time I saw him take a white handkerchief out of it, directing it to cover the skin on my arm that was still bleeding.

"Hold on, you wait for me here." I didn't answer his words, I was still astonished by what he did to me. I didn't see it wrong when he glared earlier, did I? He was a little surprised when I winced while holding my hand.

I thought the throbbing pain in my arm was bigger, but the throbbing in my chest beats it, and it's all because of Alaska.
