Chapter 13

"Hey, you want to see the basketball game this afternoon?" I don't know where Chelsy came from, all I know is that she suddenly appeared and surprised me. I took a deep breath before closing the book I was reading.

"No," I replied.

"Why?" I saw an eyebrow raised with a look on her face that seemed disappointed. I think she did plan to watch it with me this afternoon. Honestly, I don't really like basketball, especially the loud cheers from the crowd that filled the room. I prefer to spend time reading books while listening to songs or sleeping.

"It must be noisy in there, after all, if you just want to know who won, we can ask when it's finished."

"Tsk, you're not that cool, even though the atmosphere of watching basketball is fun, instead of being silent and being a nerd, isn't it boring?"

Once again I let out a small breath, wanting to gag Chelsy's mouth, who has been so fussy lately.

"Not boring at all, I met my favorite character and imagined that I was the girl." I smiled proudly after saying that, as if I was the main character of every story I read.

"Stop complaining and come with me," Chelsy's hand grabbed the novel I was reading, she placed it carelessly on the pile of books. We came out of the library with me being pulled by her.

I'm not rebellious, it's just that I keep complaining because she doesn't want to listen to anything I say, Chelsy seems to be deafening when I ask her to take her hand off me. Ah, I want to just go home and sleep, I guess that's better.

We actually arrived at that place, and my guess was right that the noise seemed to echo in the field. Chelsy pulled me back to sit in the front seat, she even had a small argument with a woman after kicking her out. Tsk, really, even though it was the girl who sat there first.

"If I get bored, I'll come back alone, it's up to you whether you want to be here or not." Again I threw a sentence that could only make her raise a thumbs up at me.

"I brought you here because I wanted to see senior—"

I suddenly cut her off just like that, honestly I didn't realize because I caught the presence of a man who had captured my heart from the first time I met him.

"Gosh that senior Alaska!" I shut my mouth in disbelief, is he serious today's match?!

I quickly turned to Chelsy, I could catch the wry smile she displayed, making me wince in surprise with the look on her face like that.

"You like him, don't you?" I nodded enthusiastically at his question. Come on, why is she still asking too? Didn't I tell her that time?

"Since the first time he punished me, I've liked him." I didn't hear any sound from Chelsy after saying that, her gaze just focused forward with an expressionless face, the exact opposite as before.

"Oh yes, what did you say to me?" She turned around after I asked that, she laughed awkwardly then shook she head slightly. Loh, even though I had heard she wanted to see someone.

"Okay, thanks for inviting me. I take back what I said, I don't regret that you brought me here." My smile hasn't faded yet, I return my gaze to the court which is not too big especially for basketball players. My gaze did not leave Alaska at all, the man's sweat had even fallen one by one from his forehead. Damn, he looks so sexy.

"Isn't that the man who held you back yesterday?" Chelsy's forefinger points to a man wearing the same clothes as Alaska, only the clothes he wears are red while Alaska is black.

My eyes narrowed slightly to examine the man, he stood with one hand used to play basketball in his hand, his back to me so I couldn't see him.

Just as he turned his body, the hairs on my neck suddenly sprouted, the same thing the man did, he looked at me with a piercing gaze when his gaze met mine. I think he will kill me after this.

"Shit!" I unconsciously cursed harshly, making Chelsy turn to me.

"Why?"

"What should I do, Chelsy?" The question he asked I answered with a question as well.

"What do you mean by that?" She asked again, my goodness how to make her understand.

"The man who had detained me actually had a problem with me, I had spilled my drink at his alma mater, he was angry and told me to wash it clean. I of course followed what he said, because I think I'm the one at fault here, but I always forget to bring the alma mater , even today I forgot too."

Actually, swearing in the library by reading that book was one of my goals to avoid it. We met a lot these past two days by accident, I ended up running while saying that I would take it tomorrow, when in fact I always forgot when I got home, it was all because of my damn cousin, he never stopped bothering me every day.

"Wow, you really, did you lose the alma mater or what?" I shook my head hard, I'm not that careless.

"No, I piled it in the dirty basket," I answered simply.

"You better take his number, tell him to call you or you call him to give him the alma mater off campus."

"Aish, I don't want to, later he will think about me." No, I answered with a slight chuckle in disgust, Chelsy who saw me like that could only shrug her shoulders nonchalantly.

"The game is over?"

Chelsy's words made me return all my attention to the field. That's right, the results are balanced, no one wins or loses. All the players wiped their sweat and gulped down the bottle of drink in their hand.

I bit my lower lip, unfortunately I didn't bring any water to give to Alaska. My eyes widened when I found Chelsy who pulled a bottle of drinking water from her bag, I quickly grabbed it and then got out of there.

"I'll change it later!" I shouted, I know maybe the girl is upset right now.

"This is for you." I handed him a bottle of drink which was actually not too cold, the taller man in front of me just looked at me alternately with the drink in my hand. Oh, yeah, there's been a small change in the last few days, Alaska doesn't throw away mine, every time I open his locker, I find mine there. Even though I know that he never ate any of it, he gave all of it to Jack.

My smile faded and was replaced with a look of surprise on my face, Alaska, which I had hoped to receive from me, was grabbed by another man.

"Where's my alma mater?"

All right, now I'm stuck in the middle.
