Chapter 25

B: She set her bowl down. "Isaac, I did not keep it from you. I wanted to make sure that I was ready. I needed to think about it before I said anything. And about two weeks." She moved closer to him. "Isaac if you frightened me, I would not want to be alone with you. I just needed to be sure. I am sorry Isaac." She sat on his lap and kissed him deeply. "Please forgive me?" She asked softly.

I: He kissed her again deeply as she sat on his lap, and his loins began to swell. The fact that she was finally ready made him aroused, and his sexual needs began to overflow. He tried to calm himself as his member began to grow erect beneath her.

"Jess, I want it to be right. I want to make it special for you. I don't want it to just be a hit or miss, it has to be patient and loving. I want you to be able to rest after, it may bring you pain. I'm not sure how to even do this with someone inexperienced, but I will try my best to bring your body happiness." He hugged her and gently moved her off of his lap and to the side of him. "I'm sorry Jess, but you are making this really hard for me to control myself."

He stood and rubbed his arms as he looked around his loft. He had to find something constructive or else he would take her right now without even giving her a chance to breathe. He knew that one taste of her, and he would never stop. He would never let her leave his bed until he had satisfied himself. He had to find a way to stay busy. For her to spring this on him, it made him desperate and that meant he would rush their experience and ruin it. His lust had been buried beneath the pain of his last girlfriend, but one word from Jess that she desired him made it resurface in full force. He began to sharpen a sword and think about spoiled vegetables to make his hard on go down.

"I...I should get back to work."

B: She looked at him as he moved her. She had felt his arousal under her. She had blushed, but when he wanted to leave, she flinched. "Isaac, we need to talk to them now. I don't have to hunt for several days. Please...I'm sorry." She started to cry. She had ruined what had. All because she hid how she felt. She was stupid.

Her eyes watered and she pulled her legs closer to chest and she cried softly. "I....Isaac....Immmm....sorry." She sobbed out. Her brain was going wild. She had to get control of herself, but she couldn't.

I: He heard her crying and he turned as if somewhat shocked. "Jess please stop apologizing for things that are not your fault. You are my angel." He went to his knees in front of the couch as she raised her knees up and he gently held her legs. "Jess, you are special to me, please don't cry. Don't ever cry over a jerk like me. I love you." The words slid right out of his mouth and he frowned the moment he realized he said it.

"I should have said that long-ago Jess. I love you, and you're my special woman. I want to make this the best experience I can. So that means I...I must confront them both, and then my heart will no longer be heavy. I can move on and make love to the one I want most. I want to have only you on my mind Jess, you and our love." He leaned up to kiss her nose and then her forehead and her neck. "Let's solve it and spend the time we have left in my loft, and I will show you what true love feels like."

B: She took several deep breaths. "You are not a jerk. I love you too." She smiled but tears still streamed down her face. She nodded and kissed his lips softly but still loving. "I love you so much, my silly jerk." she giggled and wiped her face. "Let's go talk to them." She said as she hugged him. Her brain was still hurting.

I: After he got dressed, Isaac made sure to call his brother first. He took Jess to the Institute to meet with Derek. It was a hard conversation to have, Isaac speaking to Derek about how he had held onto so much of his anger for the woman he loved before, enough to betray his brother.

Derek sat and listened as they spoke in the common area of the Institute. "Isaac, have you forgotten what happened between us? That woman that you loved so much left me to die out there, and I knew she would do it! I told you she would! Hunters that go to the mundane world stay in the mundane world. They may physically be here, but their heart is in that world. They will all go back to it eventually because they want to be a part of it! Don't you understand that you are still being an idiot Isaac!" He looked at Jess with a frown.

"They always go back. And if you trust them, they will betray you and leave you to die."

Isaac became angry, he knew Derek was talking about Jess. "Jess is different Derek. She isn't the same as-"

Derek shook his head. "They ALWAYS go back."
