Chapter 20 - Malia (1)

My car is back in the garage and I don't know if I can afford any more repairs at the moment. They did warn me that it could happen again, and that's because the car was just too old and needed to retire. Even told me that unless I was willing to fork out to replace the entire system, it would be best to buy another car. And I can't afford that. Between mom's medical needs and keeping the house and our basic necessities together, a car just isn't my priority.

They've given me some time to think about what to do and agreed to let me park Bee there in the meantime. But deep down, I know that I'm just delaying the inevitable.

I have little time to think about what I'd do with it. Junk it, or park it somewhere until I have enough money to fix it.

Perhaps I really need to ask Heather if she can hook me up with one of her jobs. I have time during the day. I should be able to find something part-time.

Sleep is for the weak.
