what's with the sudden change?
"Come on please!" Miya started to beg at the knees of Jerry.
The whole situation was awkward. It's weird seeing her like this but weirdly entertaining I couldn't get enough.
"It's not up to me-" Jerry looked at Tom and Miya instantly changed focus.
"Tom please!!" she puts her hands together and puts her head on the floor.
She really wanted this..
"What's she asking for?" Oli asked from the voice call.
"Apparently she wants to go out or something i don't know-" Gabriel explained.
I nodded in confirmation.
"The house is crowded and the boys are gross PLEASE!" She continued to beg.
"That's false and you know it!" me and Gabriel started to protest.
"Yeah! That house isn't crowded at all!"
The room got silent and everyone stared at gab not saying a word.
"What?" He asked clueless.
"Come on tom!" She just wouldn't stop- honestly i don't get these ambiverts one time they wanna keep to themselves the next they wanna be the center of attention and go outside pick a side-
"No- you're under house arrest,you shouldn't even be here."
"Come on, you're allowed to go and visit your parents on holidays in prison!" Miya protested.
"Nah that's college." I shouted from the background, correcting her.
She looked back at me in a "Your not helping-" kind of way.
"Your only sentenced to house arrest until you find the actual culprit, back in the day-"
We all groaned hearing those famous words.
We knew we were in for a long and drawn out story..
"...As i was saying ..back in the day people had to stay in their houses for years because of-"
"A disease that stops your breathing blah blah blah who doesn't know about that-" Miya interrupted Tom.
"That was 2020-2022! We are in 2145!"
"I said no-" Tom sounded serious this time, so much so that Miya actually stopped pestering him about it.
"Fiiiiiiii-ne"
"It's getting late, we need to leave before Haru's mom finds out again." Tom left the room and we followed him.
"Good night Oli sleep well." Jerry said, turning off the voice call.
"Bye Jer-" Oli was cut off as the voice call was disconnected.

We were escorted home and everyone was tired, even Miya.
I sat in the living room and started to watch Tv from the floor because I felt like it.
Miya walked into the living room to see what i was watching-
"What's that-" she asked intrigued.
"Weirder items-" I said as I continued to watch.
She decided to watch with me on my couch just throwing herself on there.
"I forgot that your couch isn't soft at all-"
How dare she say that-
"If you don't like it, sleep on the floor and I'll go there-" I said pulling her off, of course she resisted but it wasn't that hard to pull off.
After that I layed on the couch expecting Miya to totally go off on me or pull me off too but she didn't.
She just got back on the couch resting her head on my stomach.
"You're surprisingly soft-" She said surprised.
"You calling me fat??"
She laughed. "Maybe-"
"Ok who are you and what did you do to Miya-" I was concerned for my life and for everyone else in this house who was this?
She didn't respond to my question, she stared at me with those big puppy eyes!
"I'm not falling for that-"
"Fall for what?"
_Creak_
I heard the front door open-
"You know what-"
My mom overheard us and carefully walked inside continuing to overhear our conversation.
" I have no idea what you mean-"
"The real Miya would've pulled me off by now or maybe insulted me in some type of way."
"So you want me to insult you."
"Basically-"
….
The convo grew awkward between us as we just stared at each other-
"Do you have some kind of weird kink or insult fetish I don't know of?" Miya looked at me disgusted.
"Wait wait no no! That's not what I meant! Hold on now!" I tried to explain myself but it's too late. She was already sure of it.
"You're probably being turned on right now, what the hell!?"
Yup..there was no getting through to her-
"I'm just saying you're not usually as cute as you are right now." I tried to make up some excuse but I seemed to have made it worse.
"What-" She looked pissed …more than usual-
She pushed me off the couch and I fell flat on my side .
"I deserved that-" I said, getting up from the ground.
"I mean don't get me wrong…it's a nice change your usually so-" before i got to finish my sentence a pillow met my face.
"Oh come on what did i say now!?"
My mom just awkwardly left as we carried on.
"It's what you were about to say!" she shouted back.
"How do you even know what I was about to say?!"
"I just do!"
