A reunion between old friends and rivals

A day passed, and the tournament was still going strong.

With all the extra space free now because the tournament hasn't started yet.

Me and Gabe decided to have a look around the place.

Everything had the color purple with black accents, some rooms were cyan or green with the same black design.

Not knowing what else to do with ourselves, we walked around the place in awe.

"Hey look." Gabriel tapped my shoulder and pointed to a door with a distinct color from the rest of the place.

It was white.

We looked at each other and then back at the door before opening it.

What we saw was eye-opening.

It was a whole central of gamers and a few other things.

All of them were streaming, playing games, and dominating.

"Woah..." I said, looking around the room.

They were all in cubicles with green screens so we couldn't interrupt them without their permission.

I walked through the room with starry eyes looking at all the cool stuff that could've been found there.

_______

"They're taking their time.." Oli commented, seeing as we were gone for a while.

Miya did nothing but nod.

"What's on your mind?" Oli asked.

"Nothing..I; just get bad vibes about this place."

Her mind goes back to that girl with white hair.

The room shared an awkward silence before Miya got up, looking for us without saying a word.

"Where are you going?" Oli said, concerned.

"To find Gabe and Haru."

She closed the door behind her leaving Oli alone in that room.

RING_RING_

A mailman stood at my door front, holding a letter from someone.

"Eli, get the door!" my mom said from inside.

Footsteps were heard from the house and the door soon opened.

"What do you want-" He looked at the letter which the mailman soon gave to him.

"Ok, what does it say," Eli said, holding the letter.

The mailman shrugged, and Eli just gave him an "I know you read our mail" Look.

The mailman sighed heavily before responding.

"Your Friends are being held on trial for their innocence, they should be back in a week. So don't worry- Tom."

Eli sighed and just locked the door.

"No tip?" Eli ignored the muffled voice of the mailman and placed the letter on the table.

"Who was it?" My mom asked from upstairs.

"The mailman!"

Eli responded.

"It's about Haru on the others."

"They're going to finally put this trial nonsense to rest," Eli explained to my mom.

My mom walked downstairs with joy plastered all over her face.

"Really?"

Eli nodded with a weak smile on his face which coming from him is a feat.

"He'll be able to go to university normally again and finally become what we wanted to be!" She was overjoyed.

Though Eli wasn't as happy, his weak smile slowly disappeared.

'You mean what you want him to be...'

Miya walked around the place aimlessly, looking for us but not calling our names.

Through all the doors she looked at a blue door with black accents.

She opened the door.

When she got there she just saw a dark and empty room, A room that brings back...

Too many memories.

Quickly she turned to leave but...

"Oh hi, Miku!" The girl with white hair stood in between her and the exit with a bright smile.

"Yogini.." Miya said in pure disgust.

"We haven't had a chance to properly catch up since our last meet-up!"

She gave a cheeky smile.

"how's it going?"
